Very poor communication between the staff & the patient, as well as poor communication between the…read morestaff in the procedure room & the front desk! By the time you wake up from a procedure, you're really drowsy, so you can't remember what was told to you. The staff doesn't communicate with your family member that picks you up, to let them know what has been done to you. Several times, I've been told that I was going to have a certain procedure done before I receive anesthesia, but when I get home & the anesthesia wears off, I read the paper given to me & it says that I had a completely different procedure done. When I call & ask which procedure was actually done to me, I get multiple answers from different staff members! That is not safe, incase something were to happen & the patient would end up having to go to the hospital & they wouldn't know what to tell the doctor as to exactly which procedure was done!! NOT good at all!! On a positive note, whichever procedure the doctor decides to do on me in order to help me feel better, is perfectly fine with me because if it doesn't help me feel completely better the first time, then they simply repeat the procedure a few weeks later until I feel much better & am not in anymore pain for a while.

As with anything healing takes time but he actually pieced my tattoo back so that the scar separating it is barely noticable. How many surgeons really care about that. I see Dr. Stubbs for my shoulders that are both going to need surgery. I see Dr. Hobbes for my pain management. All the staff as well as the Dr.s are wonderful. Researched ways to figure out why my daddy wasn't breathing well, and came up with some very innovative solutions! Always investigated an issue so that his helpfulness was meaningful. The rest of the staff, mediocre. The current night shift.. it's 9pm and so I stepped out to ask when my dad would be receiving his bath... the RT told me "oh, I don't know. It will probably be whenever she gets to you." Really!?!! Whenever she gets to us? Wow I would have never known that had this woman not told me. A 5 year old would know that. My dads gown is wet and they have not bathed him. UNACCEPTABLE. Doesn't she understand that we don't want to be here either. It's unfortunate because the rating is affected by the bad patient experience as well as the good. Of course, this one person doesn't take away from the fact that there were some amazing people. But it's just a huge disappointment being cared for by staff that obviously don't want to be in health CARE.
