Rating: 5.0 FACILITY: Located within the shopping center proximal to Best Buy in Florida City, there are ample parking. The waiting area is clean and roomy; with the aquarium as a special touch. Inside, the threrapy areas are clean and patient rooms are also very clean. SERVICE: I have been a patient/client/customer for over a decade. Initially due to an accident, and thereafter for chiropractic maintenance and massage. Dr. Jason and Dr. Tony are the best doctors. They have excellent bedside manners, very respectful and tells you like it is. They work well together and I would often hear them laughing in the office. Now, I bring my teenage son in for his maintenance. The office staff are also wonderful. Ms. Janel is always very professional, organize, and considerate. She always thinks of me whenever there's a cancellation because she knows my work schedule is complicated. And though the massage therapists changed overtime,right now, Ricardo's strong hands is just what I need. Unfortunately, he is only there on Thursdays but he does a really good job applying a good amount of pressure and beating my muscles into shape. Overall, my family love everyone here at Active Spine. It's easy to make appointments and reschedule. Paper work and insurance info are always updated by them and we don't ever have any problem collecting payment. Sorry to see Dr. Tony go, but Dr. Lopate and the staff are holding down the fort just fine. The one thing we don't see eye to eye on is the fact that they are Florida Gators and we're Florida Seminoles. lol read more

I had a pulled out back for 9 days. Barely able to live a normal life. The day before Thanksgiving I was barely able to walk and drove to the office out of desperation for a possible cancellation or availability. The office squeezed me in later that day which I was so thankful for. I'm typing this Thanksgiving morning feeling like they gave me a miracle because I'm not only able to walk today but I feel great actually! I'm telling you, for back pain... I haven't been here in years because honestly my first experience many years ago wasn't the most pleasant one. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't like my chiropractor in Kendall. However, today I went and saw Dr. Jason and it was an amazing experience. I highly recommend him. His bedside manner is great. He is knowledgeable about the body and chiropractic care. I was in a car accident a lady ran a stop sign tboned my car. The first chiropractor i went to in Homestead was a joke. People were clueless. Dr. Jeff and Dr Jason are truly excellent chiropractor, and the doctors and the staff present the perfect combination of warmth and professionalism. They are compassionate and always willing to educate their patients with whatever questions may surface. The adjustments are always gentle and health-changing. I didn't knew what to expect. This is my first visit to a chiropractor. The checking process was as expected. Nothing too fancy. The ambiance was like visiting a doctor's office. The service was amazing. I was welcomed and toured around the facility. The service started with a sports massage. The massage was absolutely incredible. My therapist found knots in my body effortlessly. All discomforts were targeted and the feeling of relief was almost instantaneous. The body was sore but the goals were met. The therapist also use a few tools to address the affected muscles (primarily back and calves "Soleus"). It felt like she had medieval tools or something. The pressure was on point. Therapist showed knowledge of the body and muscles. Showed efficient technics. Absolutely amazing sports massage. After that I went to see the Chiropractor. He explained to me the procedure. He showed me the importance of taking care of the spine. As part of the therapy he showed me a few stretches to help my posture. Lastly he cracked a few bones. To be honest, what got me was the sports massage. Chiropractor seems to be very knowledgeable and he was actually pretty cool, but I will most definitely visit the place at least once a month just for the sports massage. read more

I'd been seeing my family chiropractor for years, first with lower back pain then with neck and migraine complaints with no real positive improvement. A relative recommended Dr. Batillo after hearing my multitude of pain complaints. Dr. Batillo listened to my years of pain culminating in Migraine and reviewing my MRI carefully explained the cause of my pain. He set forth a treatment plan that included chiropractic and neuromuscular massage treatment of my neck and lower back along with strict instructions for the importance of stretching and ice therapy at home. I experienced almost immediate improvement, lessened pain, and less need for my migraine medication. I would recommend Dr. Batillo and Dr. Lopate to anyone experiencing chronic pain. I used to go to Florida Wellness and Rehabilitation and i was not pleased with the service there. It was a factory taking 5 more or people in at once and leaving within less than 20 mins. He listened to my complaints ,performed thorough exam and then took the time to explain everything so I could understand before adjusting my spine.
