Justin and Bijan helped us sell our house in Crestline. They were very responsive and handled all the coordination with our tenants who were in the house until after we had an offer. Their rates are competitive and ultimately I think we got about the best offer we could have. A few small disappointments: They didn't seem to know the rural mountain market very well, the listing photo and writing quality was meh, and I wish we had been given a better orientation to the steps involved and potential timeline. We wanted to sell the house for more than what turned out to be its market value, and I think they took the right approach with us, giving us an optimistic but realistic sense of the highest potential sale point, and walking it down as we saw we weren't getting offers. Cross reference credit check to their loan guys which is a circle feeding each other instead of making a sale of a house. Lori Madsen was the listing agent for the home we purchased. We used her as our buying agent in hopes of securing the house, which we succeeded at doing. However, there were a number of instances where things didn't get relayed or communicated clearly so I question how well she actually represented us. But more importantly, I seriously regret ever using her to sell our previous home. Her lack of proper representation cost us tens of thousands of dollars!!! First, we got offers right away after our Saturday open house. We would have gladly accepted an offer as early as Monday but for some reason she waited until Wednesday to formally discuss our offers with us and select one. Well, that extra time caused us to lose our highest offer - so $25k lost!!! We accepted our other offer and the whole experience was a NIGHTMARE! She executed a notice to perform for the inspection contingency removal, but absolutely FAILED to execute a timely notice to perform for the loan contingency removal. We aren't heartless so we showed compassion when our buyer encountered a family emergency, but it should have been handled and behind us before that ever even occurred. She allowed this to go on for WEEKS!! I had to repeatedly reach out to ask for updates and she'd send screenshots of the other agent's responses and based on time stamps, it would be my reaching out to Lori that would prompt her to make contact with the buyer's agent. Even once we set deadlines for action, it took over a week to get the next notice to perform executed. We ultimately had to cancel the contract but due to her lack of securing the loan contingency removal, we weren't entitled to the deposit and we got screwed out of thousands more for the time carrying that mortgage and the excessive interest on our new mortgage until our sale proceeds could be applied to it. Our final sale price was another $5k less than the original loss so all in all, her poor representation cost us big!!! She had a victim reaction to the ordeal at every turn. We had put our trust in her as the expert, but after I had done my own research, I explained to her the timeline and the lack of proper action. Even then, she never once apologized or owned up to her failure to properly represent us. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE USING AN AGENT WHO DIDN'T DO ANYTHING TO EARN MY BUSINESS because it sure showed over and over!!! read more

I was curious about the reviews for this company. A neighbors home went up for sale about a month ago and there is NO information on it anywhere to be found on the web. Usually when you list on the MLS it transfers to Zillow, trulia ect. But this house it's nowhere! We had a very horrible experience with Justin Tye and his incompetent team. We had interviewed various agents and decided to go with him because he talked a big game and in the end was not able to deliver. Hie is so rude and not a man of his words. After we listed our house with him; he failed to market it properly and when we wanted out of his 90 day contract to represent us; he refused to let us out although he had stated in our initial meeting that we can leave at anytime if we are not Happy with his service. He actually got in a yelling match with my husband at one point; so unprofessional! Classic small man syndrome! In the end, he failed woefully in selling our house, which was an immaculate house. In fact, his colleagues also have nothing good to say about him as well and one had told me they were not able to see our house as listed online for the first 20days! It was a beautiful morning in May when I received an email from Zillow. The dream house I had been following for 9 months had dropped its price again! It was now within range! I sent my wife the info and she responded with "It's ours!" She hastily called the first agent's face Zillow showed her. She thought she was calling the listing agent but lucky for us it was Justin Tye. She told him about the home and Justin sent out a member of his team, Richard AKA the nicest guy on planet Earth, within an hour to show it. A few days later we had an offer in to the seller. It didn't take long for them to accept but we had one glaring problem. We needed to sell our starter home to fund the dream home. And we needed to do it quickly. Justin assured us that it was no problem for him to handle both deals. His confidence and reputation made it an easy decision for us. He was able to sell our starter in a timely manner without open houses or much hassle at all. He was also able to get us into our dream home on the exact date escrow was due to close, which happened to be a Friday. This was no easy task. Through the entire process Justin and his team (Hi Jennifer!) were great communicators and never made us feel uncomfortable. In fact, they treated us like we were the only client they had which was far from the truth. They work hard! I greatly appreciated the ability to sign forms from my iPhone and that I could send Justin a text at any time on any day knowing that he would respond right away with a call. My husband interviewed 8 others before selecting Justin Tye, but our experience with him/his office/the process was terrible. Before the open house a young lady came to check out the house for staging the downstairs and was very rude, stating "this is too much, wow, oh my goodness I just can't" and abruptly left. We had been told the key box kept info on who came and went but when asking for that information suddenly they were quick to change the subject. Third week I was home with a migraine, asleep until a man let himself in and seemed shocked that he was supposed to make an appt for a showing. It was clear on the posting that one must make an appt.
