They were an hour late, which I can shrug off, but I was quoted $275 and they charged us $350 (after they'd loaded the piano in their van). No apparent reason, either read more
I have a 100-year old piano that had several non-working keys and ofher problems, and two other piano tuners took one look at it and said it couldn't be fixed. Zach went over it carefully, explained all of the problems, and then fixed and tuned it for an extremely reasonable rate. I recommend him highly! read more
Action Piano did a great job with both moving and tuning my piano.
Moving: They brought a crew of 3 experienced movers using a truck with a nice enclosed trailer. The equipment all seemed in good shape and they definitely knew what they were doing. Everything was secure every part of the way and they made sure to protect my floor as well. They made sure I was happy with where the piano was placed (given that I won't be moving this 1,000 lb monster any time soon!)
Tuning: The technician went above and beyond to not only tune the piano but to fix the loose action as well. The piano was starting to feel like a 20 year old piano but now it plays like new again!
I would highly recommend their professional service for moving and for tuning! read more
Zach Drill did a great job coordinating the move of my great grandmother's piano from Mooresville to Durham for $500. We were slotted to go with another provider but he said they'd match and give me 10% off competitors. He was very responsive by email and I received a text with updates. I'm very happy with the price and the safe delivery of a precious family heirloom. Now to get it tuned! :) read more
