Charged $700 for the 1 hour web meeting she rolled her eyes through a lot of it and told me how to go about filing severance but sent the child back to unsupervised to father who had not been visiting at all. She would not take calls from child's teacher who wanted to report something. She ignored documentation of 4 other women father was abusive towards. She did not call child care provider or meet the child she took the testimony of the opposing parties council Maria Lawrence of Lawrence Law and ran with it who is facing a second bar complaint for lying about father's sobriety along with her client. I actually brought this up at the end of my appointment and was given excuses like, "oh, I have been telling them to clean for months," and "I didn't realize the chair was that dirty because I don't sit on that side of the room." As far as the person I talked to, she had the radio on the entire time next to her and kept saying, "pardon me?" when I would talk, because she could obviously not hear me over the radio. I went in to talk about possible depression, within ten minutes, she was saying how pills can "lift the fog," I expressed not wanting to go straight to medication as an answer, and she said, "I didn't say you should." She was very argumentative and told me things like, "maybe you should get a new job," and "don't worry about your kids, if they haven't burnt down the house, they're fine." Never again. The reinstatement package went through without a hitch and the MVD process from filing to receipt of written approval was exactly four weeks. Another week to arrange the Ignition Interlock installation and complete the testing procedure, Reinstatement mailed on 10/16/2019 license in hand 11/20/2019. As a sidebar, I went with Smart Start for the interlock because of many reasons, the best being they were the lowest cost with multiple states and the most professional and transparent, by far. If I didn't schedule out far enough, then another client could schedule and I'd just have to miss out or schedule the next available day that that time was open. It's first come first serve so what Stacy did was wrong. I was then paired with Dr. D whom I saw for a few months and definitely felt much safer. One of my children needed consistent support but was suddenly dropped as a client under false circumstances. When I tried to find a different therapist, per my child's request and the advice of other medical professionals, I attempted to stay with the practice. An appointment was made with a new therapist, only for the practice to later cancel it and say my child was restricted to seeing only one other therapist, without providing any explanation. That therapist had limited availability, which would have required me to pull my child from school inconsistently. When I explained that wouldn't work, I was told, "Well, maybe this isn't the right practice for you." Not my child, me. I was advocating for my child to receive consistent care, and that response was incredibly disappointing. Don't waste your time here, you'll end up needing more therapy than what you walked in with.
