We had an awful experience with another company and were really worried about finding someone honest and reputable. We saw a friend's yard and we were so impressed that we asked for details on which company did the work. We spoke with Kalian at Advantage based on the recommendation and we were immediately impressed with her knowledge and kindness. We met with Ken the following week and he walked the property with me making suggestions. Ken definitely has a great eye for landscaping. Matt was also great, helping us on a daily basis with the logistics and giving his opinion on how to make the area shine. His prices were within reason for the scope of the project (unlike the other company we had hired, whose project/contract price was almost 3 times the estimate of the project AFTER we paid the deposit). The final result was incredible, but what really stood out was the entire experience working with Advantage. They truly listened to what we wanted, took our ideas seriously, and also brought their own creative vision and expertise to the project. The team went above and beyond to help us make our entire yard perfect, paying attention to every detail and making the whole process smooth and enjoyable. Their professionalism, communication, and craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. We can't thank them enough for transforming our yard into something we absolutely love. I would recommend them to anyone who will listen!

We couldn't be happier with our new patio. It turned out even more beautiful than we had imagined!…read more When we requested an estimate, Evan came to our home. We explained that we wanted a low-maintenance outdoor space that felt clean, modern, and sophisticated. About a week later, Evan sent us a design image created by their in-house designer. Evan was also the one who recommended the white decorative rock, which makes the patio feel brighter and more spacious, as well as the gray multicolored pavers for the area where we planned to install our pergola. We happened to have very similar tastes, but more than anything, we were truly impressed by his excellent sense of design. His recommendations helped bring our vision to life. The project was originally scheduled to take three days, but the entire job was completed in just a day and a half! The entire crew was incredibly professional. They worked with incredible speed and efficiency, and the finished work was absolutely perfect. We were especially impressed by Nicco, the manager, and the entire crew. Watching them work so hard in the intense heat, with such dedication and professionalism, truly made us appreciate their efforts. We also received estimates from three other companies. The other companies told us that a design image would cost $500, but this company provided ours free of charge. We were also told by other companies that we would need additional drainage pipes. After carefully examining our patio area, Evan confidently told us that they were not necessary, which helped us avoid an unnecessary expense. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, professional, and trustworthy. They sincerely listened to our wishes and questions and gave us honest, professional advice. Because of that, we felt completely comfortable leaving the project in their hands. Now, one of our favorite things to do is simply look at our patio throughout the day. It has a different beauty in the morning, during the day, and at night, and we truly enjoy seeing how it changes with the light. We are incredibly grateful to Evan, Nicco, and the entire team. Thank you so much for creating such a beautiful space for us! If you are looking for a company with excellent design sense, professional advice, incredible efficiency, and beautiful workmanship, we highly recommend this company. We could not be happier with the result!

JRs, on the other hand, took the time to find a solution and made the entire process so easy. They were professional from start to finish. The rock was delivered the evening before so the crew could get started first thing in the morning. I would absolutely recommend JRs to anyone looking for quality landscaping work, and I would definitely use them again!

I requested for tree trimming services, weed pulling, blowing and haul away for the branches cut. I…read morewas happy with the weed pulling and blowing, but tree trimming is not this guy, Rafa's forte. He trimmed one side of my tree and left the other side (the front of the tree that everyone can see) full and overgrown just on the one side. When he was done with the trim, the tree looked like it got struck by lightning. It was terrible! His excuse for not finishing was that he didn't have the right equipment and that he had another job to go to. Ok. I accepted the excuse of not having the proper equipment as they seemed nice and spent a good amount of time on our initial project.m; but the reason of having to go to another job is unacceptable. That is not our problem. If you're going to be paid for a job, you should finish it. I paid Rafa and even gave him and his sidekick a tip with the promise of him returning to finish the tree trimming. Boy! Do I regret it! Rafa was supposed to come back 2 months later to finish what he didn't finish (as agreed) and to do the regular maintenance, which isn't much as we live in the desert after all (weed pulling and blowing and occasional tree trimming when necessary). Well, he didn't show up so we contacted him and he said that he was busy so he couldn't come out (as if that is our problem). Anyhow, he said he would show a week or so later but didn't show again. We had to contact him again and then he goes to say that he would stop by yesterday (Monday). We texted him to confirm that he was going to come by but he decided he would change it to the next day. I understand that we all have lives but if you make a commitment with a customer, you have to stick with it and not cancel as many times as Rafa did. He finally showed today and just trimmed one tree but was still not enough as he agreed to do what we asked during his initial visit, which is to trim the trees down short. His sidekick blew the area of debris and loaded a few branches on to the trailer. Rafa decides to then start cleaning up and put away his tools. Mind you, we were watching them work and noticed that Rafa's work ethics need a bit of a fine tuning. We texted him to show us what he cut but decided that he would just speed off (no exaggeration either) as I was coming out to talk to him. I specifically texted him and let him know that he didn't finish the job and that I would like to talk to him to let him know what needed to have done but he wasn't having it and just left. Can you believe that he had had the nerve to ask for more money and tell us that the tree grew too much (bc he had us wait almost 3 months for maintenance when it was agreed to at 2 months) for him to waste his time on since he had other customers? I couldn't believe our ears. We couldn't just let it go and was hoping to get him to come back to finish the job. We tried calling and texting but no response. I think that our customer to gardener relationship will probably be over. If you want your gardening/landscaping completed, you might want to hire another company. I will not EVER recommend this guy, Rafa, to anyone.

Southwest Lawnscape did a great job cleaning up and pruning our front yard last year. The crew was professional, arrived when they said they would, and completed the work efficiently. After I mentioned it, the owner immediately sent the crew back, and they thoroughly cleaned out the remaining leaves. They collected all the debris, hauled everything away, and left the yard looking great. The price was also very fair. I will absolutely use Southwest Lawnscape again.

Miles and Manny took the time to really listen to our vision and help us create exactly what we wanted! The solar lights petered out quickly in the winter or after a cloudy day. I went to my trusty Yelp app and came across Las Vegas Backyards and their many five star reviews. I sent information about my project through Yelp, and I received a response the next business day to setup an estimate. The project manager was very thorough, and he explained his recommendations for the project while keeping aesthetics in mind. The estimate was right in line with what my research had told me was an average price for this type of job. I was, however, a little surprised that the project manager did not arrive with a catalog of various lighting fixture choices to peruse. He did send several photos of his recommended fixtures later that day based on our preference for something modern. Communication was quite good through a group text with all the respective players involved. The date for the install was arranged within a week or so of my inquiry. There was a slight snafu on installation day, as the fixtures we had chosen were sold out. We were sent photos of alternative choices and were able to find a contemporary design that was to our liking. The first part of the installation took about a half day with trenching, running power lines, and installing the fixtures. The second day was a quick installation of the transformer. I was happy to see they had installed a smart transformer with WiFi access and an app to set schedules. I do wish they would've gone over this ahead of time to discuss what type of transformer would be installed (again, I am glad they picked a smart model as that's exactly what I wanted). Unfortunately, one of the spotlights was found to be defective by the installer during their testing. They returned the next afternoon to replace it. Payment was handled in phases with certain percentages due at certain points in the installation. Payment is easily made online with a credit card, but unfortunately there is a surcharge for this type of payment. They do have other payment options if you want to avoid the surcharge. Now we have a wonderful, gorgeous, and very upscale looking landscape lighting setup that really increases the curb appeal! Thank you to Las Vegas backyards!
