If you're UNABLE to manage both appointments and walk-ins effectively, then you shouldn't be accepting walk-ins at the expense of scheduled customers. Respecting clients' time should be a basic standard. Unfortunately, that was not the case tonight. I ended up leaving and taking my business elsewhere, and I won't be coming back. EVERYONE looked flustered and stressed out. I wouldn't trust someone doing my taxes if they were acting like this because they can easily mess up numbers. I'm also leaving a google review. This is tough for me because I used Klean Books for 2 straight years and had a great experience and…read moregot a much bigger state return than I expected. This year has been another story. Back in April I left work early to get home to my scheduled meeting with John, meeting gets canceled 10 minutes before the time and we file for an extension not the biggest issue but slightly annoying since I left work early. Fast forward to a month before my extension deadline I try and log in to their internal system, my account is deleted. Was able to get that resolved but another small issue. The big one is trying to schedule a meeting with John. His calendar link on the client portal is broken. Then he's not responsive to texts/calls/emails. And he has read receipts on his texts so you can see he's looking at them but not answering. Overall I'm pretty bummed because the first 2 years were great but this one has been extremely tough to get even a routine meeting scheduled. Will likely take my business elsewhere next tax season.

As we look to tax professionals for…read moreguidance and their expertise, it is important to share this experience with potential customers. The Experience: We had our taxes done 2 years ago and were told someone else had filed under our social security number. The instruction we were given, was to file by paper. We waited patiently as the IRS site, "Where's My Refund," prompted us the return was received and being processed. After two years of going back and forth with All Valley Tax and the IRS, an IRS rep finally suggested we complete the 14039 Identity Theft Affidavit. I do believe having this form filed with our tax return would have accelerated the process. The Bottom Line: Before learning about the Identity Theft Affidavit, Dindi and All Valley tax were not helpful when we called for guidance. At times we felt ignored as they provided reasons for being too busy. They even shared they wouldn't help because we were no longer filing with them. The question then, if I were to be audited for 2022, would they no longer be assisting? The next question to ask is, if another identity theft situation arises, is this the quality of their protocols?
