She does not like to waste time or money. Johanne emailed me on a Monday and said she thought about the case over the weekend. She went above and beyond to ensure I understood every step of the process and always had my best interests at heart. Her attention to detail and commitment to achieving the best possible outcome truly set her apart. Thanks to her hard work and dedication, I felt confident and supported throughout the entire experience. Unlike other attorneys, Johanne has many years of experience working in other fields and is an expert in all aspects of divorce. If you're looking for an attorney who genuinely cares about her clients and delivers exceptional results Johanne Valois Shoffstall is the one to call. She is the best!" Thank you so much, Theresa

I regret I cannot accommodate that,". Never mind the obvious contradiction, this individual sounds and acts bizarre. She then sent a formal "non-representation" document without simply asking for another of the "approved" forms of payment. I would warn you to avoid this seeming ailment or illness presented in just a 24 hour time period. Wow.

Right from the first email from him, he sent me over a document to sign for a divorce and all the…read morepronouns were wrong. I had to correct all the docs before signing. My very first appointment with him at his office was a fiasco. They moved their office and never bothered to tell me or leave a sign on the old door with directions on where to go. He let my ex get away with ALL of our assets. My ex purchased a brand new truck, sold OUR boat for $36k to pay for it, then took $20k of OUR savings to pay the car loan off!! When I sent him a video proving that my ex was hiding our marital belongings at a neighbors house, he did absolutely nothing to stop him. My ex sold all of our furniture off and donated many of my things to Goodwill. After being emotionally abused by my ex for 38 years, to have my own lawyer gaslight me was pretty disgusting. Do not recommend.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!…read more Our son was fortunate to be able to retain the services of Matt Kowtko from the Kowtko Law Group. Matt helped us during the most difficult year of our lives. Our son was wrongfully accused and was charged with serious capital crimes. These offenses were to be punishable by life imprisonment with no parole and possibly the death penalty. Needless to say, we were horrified. From the moment we met with Matt and his team, we immediately knew they would do their best to defend our son. Matt is truly exceptional, and his legal expertise is top notch. He was always available to listen to ALL our concerns and provided the best possible explanation of the legal system. His aggressive defense strategies as well as his detail to all the research were absolutely astounding. When we started feeling unsure, Matt was able to reassure us that we were in good hands. He will not sugar coat anything; he gives it to you straight. We were also very fortunate that Matt partnered with Attorney Allan Baily who is thorough and very knowledgeable. When you hire Matt, you get it all - he will NOT quit on you. He will put everything he can into defending you and we are forever GRATEFUL. Ultimately, our son was acquitted on all counts!! We recommend Matt Kowtko without reservation to take on any legal matter; he is the best!!
