My girls chose to do the animal experience at the on site farm. Hands down, best part of our stay. Location is the best if you want to be close to the beach and zoo. The only concern I had was the requirement to buy their firewood.

There was no mention that the living area was in this condition and when my family and myself brought it up to the staff they continued to say they couldn't do anything about it cause we already had a good rate due to our family having a permanent spot at the campground. They just stared and didn't offer to Move our cabin or any resolution. The person that I would need to speak to was "off" or "in a meeting" the whole trip. Mind you there were plenty of other open cabins on our street and the next street. I wasn't asking for money. I was asking for an alternative to having my children and myself essentially in these conditions during our vacation. My first night after seeing this all I wanted to do was go home. Would have been better off and saved 700$. We knew during the trip since it was off season we wouldn't get to use most amenities like the pool or lake or other things offered and we're looking forward for a nice cabin and couldn't even get that. We were told our site was the only one with full hookup. They got us into Acorn which was a lot nicer. They said three trailers were sent to Acorn. The rules seem a little strict but it doesn't seem that they really enforce them as you don't see the staff much as you go into the campground.
