They contacted him directly and trusted his work and character based on their past experience. He horrendously overcharged them almost $1500 - for a new sink replacement. He picked up a sink from Menards which he charged over $300 for. The rest I'm assuming was his labor cost. I understand there's typically a high hourly rate for skilled labor. I also understand if you want to charge a surcharge for the unit or delivery. What I don't understand is how you justified charging them almost three times the cost of the original unit. Menards is literally 10 minutes away and it's not even a "high-end" model. My parents may have a language barrier but I certainly can price check and it's disgusting that you would take advantage of their ignorance. Especially as return customers.
