We walked all around and checked everything they had on display and we were able to narrow down what we wanted before we sat with Lisa to make our final decisions (so many things to decide). We had a size limit as we bought a single lot, but we had decided on a color stone and design while we shopped. Lisa helped us make all the final decisions (you even have to pick a font). I would definitely recommend this place for buying a headstone. I'll update when we have delivery (probably in the spring, stones are backed up due to covid).

HORRIBLE! Recently my mother passed away and before she…read morepassed, she made her funeral arrangements and advised myself on what she wanted during her services. After she passed I was working with someone at the Northbridge location to put her services in motion. During this setup time, Jackman informed me that a friend of my mothers had called them (an hour after TOD) with concern about her service dates, stating certain dates wouldn't work for the services because it was her daughters wedding. What friend would call the funeral home and family members advising which dates wouldn't work for them? Then the funeral home tells me to keep that in mind when selecting the dates. So, We agreed on a date and was told to send over a picture for her obituary. While waiting for a return call, I advised family and friends near and far about her service date and times. I did not hear from Jackman the rest of the day as promised. That evening someone on social media advised me the dates had been changed. I advised that it must have been a mistake. NOPE! Jackman Funeral Home let my drug addict brother walk in and change the whole service arrangements without even calling to confirm with myself and the rest of the family. Needless to say my phone has been ringing off the hook with complaints and demands of refunds for plane tickets and gas money from people who traveled hours to come to my mother's services. I tried several times to reach management by phone and email. I did get a response via email days later stating " After we spoke I spoke with your brother who explained to me that you told him to handle mom's arrangements. After he spoke with your grandfather they collectively decided the **th was best. It was very important to mom to have her ashes present at her service, thus making the decision easier for the family.I was also under the impression he was going to speak with you last night. I feel badly but the arrangements have been made of the **th and it's now going to be in this weeks paper. I sent you a copy of mom's obituary yesterday for input and corrections. I take it that email didn't reach you? If you'd like to call me I'm here. Again, I'm sorry for the confusion." None of this information was true. She took his word over mine and disregarded my feelings and the law at this very difficult time. I had already warned them of issues with my brother and I was her legal proxy. I am still getting calls regarding this matter when I should be greiving for my mother. And no I never received any email regarding her obituary, and I had no say in what was written. Awful just awful. I would never use these guys again. Seriously awful. They didn't care and they have not tried to rectify any of this. Just a sorry for the confusion?
