Great service here in the middle of no where Kansas. The food is fast, Hot and tasty. The beers are cold too. Although you will not find "fine craft beer" they have the standards, like Bud, Coors, Busch lite of course and the like. The menu is large and has about anything you could wish for. Famous for their burgers, the special was a ribeye or sirloin with choice of potato, and salad too. Ribeye for me every time, steak fries, cottage cheese and potato soup as well. A lot of food to replace the pounds I have shivered off this week at work. The potato soup bowl was creamy and chunky too. It hit the spot for sure. The cottage cheese was good too. My ribeye was rare, just like I asked. The steak fries were hot and crispy. The sassy bar keep and the Great food made a long cold day much better. Hap's is not a rowdy place, families would be smart to grab food to go or enjoy the spacious dining room. Closed on Sundays, that leaves plenty of time to check out the girls at Hap's you will enjoy it.

Even though I had heard about this place, I was leary because all the Yelp reviews were so old. However, the place was packed and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I had the Saturday special 8oz Filet and added sautéed mushrooms and herb butter. They do charge extra for every single little thing, but these items "made" the steak. Hubby had the smoked Pork Chop with a baked potato (which we shared; upcharge to get it "loaded" which meant they added cheese to the butter and sour cream). Fresh hot bread and butter came with the meal. Both entrees were Yumm-oh! Our waitress was attentive and friendly and busy. I also got a glass of Moscato wine, which was tasty. And we ordered the Brownie Sundae for dessert, which unfortunately did not live up to our expectations. I'd definitely skip the $9! dessert. The total bill was North of $100, so kind of pricey for us, but we did like what we had. I just wanted to add a review that was current.
