I want to share my experience with Enrique as both a masseuse and as the business owner of Face to Face NYC: Enrique gave me the "Ultimate Massage". When I came into the office at the lobby Enrique quickly acknowledged and greeted me. He went to make sure the room as perfect and then came back outside to take me into the room. The room was perfectly lit and air conditioned. He politely gave me time alone to get ready for the table and came back several minutes later to start the massage. The Ultimate Massage: I have never done a deep tissue massage before and so I was not sure what to expect. Enrique delivered in the perfect amount of pressure to apply onto my hard knots both on my back and my shoulders. He started off on my shoulders and upper back and I had such difficult knots on my shoulders it was so painful feeling him loosen them up gradually. But that "pain" was pain of relief and comfort. Enrique did a wonderful job on my neck, shoulders, and back. He then proceeded to the rest of my body: legs, feet, arms, and hands. I had no idea that I had secret hard knots all over my forearm and legs. Enrique used his professionalism and history of his craft by doing techniques that helped to ease up painful knots that has never been touched before; especially in a deep tissue massage. Overall: I felt very relieved and satisfied at the end of my Ultimate Massage that I had asked Enrique if he had time for 30-45 minutes more for a deep tissue massage specifically for my back and shoulders. Unfortunately, he had a next client coming in. I will definitely be coming back to Enrique at Face to Face NYC for a thorough, professional, well done massage as well as try their other offerings. My experience with Alyssa was very comfortable and she was very thorough making sure not to leave anything behind lol. I have an appointment in 4 weeks and I might buy a package. My first few experiences were at nail salons (the worst and most painful), then I tried sugaring at 2 places near where I live and I always had a good experience there as well, but there was something different about the wax EWC uses. It wasn't pain free but it was certainly less painless than regular wax or sugaring. Try them, you won't be disappointed!

They were able to make a same day appointment which was great. The front staff was amazing, polite and energetic. Waxing is not new to me, I have been full body waxing for over 20 years, in my late 30's now. I had my under arms, a full Brazilian and half legs done. When she was doing my underarms I was incredibly surprised she was going back for a fourth time, and not just touch up, a full coverage of the wax for the fourth time. I looked at my underarms trying to figure out why she needed to keep going back. She could tell I had some concern and her response was that the hair was coming off really well. Well why go back a fourth time then? The Brazilian and half legs were fine but my underarms were very uncomfortable so I purchased their cream to go with it. That night I could barely sleep the pain was so bad. I used their cream and I even dusted some talc powder to help with extra moisture and chaffing. The next morning my underarms were covered with big sores. The day after that they had turned into large scabs. I called that day to the office and the gal at the front desk advised that I use a cream like neosporin to help it heal and she would have the manager call me. The manager left a message the next day but was in the office for very limited hours and would not be back till two days later. I called back two days later and left another message also advising the best time for her to call me. She called several hours before that time and left a message saying she put a 5 point credit on my account, to continue using their serum to prevent ingrown hairs and call if I had any other questions... I am appalled at that kind of response! Waxing is not new to me. Never in my life have I ever had such a terrible experience like this! It's been two weeks now and the sores have turned to scars that are fairly noticeable. I will be calling the main offices and also filing a complaint with the local cosmetology licensing department. I would never go back here and advise others to make sure you are verifying that whoever you see has a great track record with other long time customers.
