There's a hack to get free parking later in the day, but now with the summer late entry tickets and Oogie Boogie Bash in the fall, I doubt that will be as prominent. Very organized and regulated, even when it looks like there's a daunting crowd of cars outside, the parking structure cast members are really good at direction, letting you know where to stop your car and this truly shows that Disney is a well oiled machine. Free parking with the higher levels of Magic Key pass, if not you're shelling out $40 or more depending on how big your vehicle is. There's elevators and escalators, just make sure to remember where you parked or log it onto your app. I think my only issue is that I've seen more shenanigans happen here than any other parking spot at the parks (Toy Story/Pixar Pals). I've seen drinking, smoking many forms of substances, trash everywhere, including what looks like an entire picnic and all of the trash just tossed onto the other parking spots, and most worryingly, a woman getting out of a car while it was driving while yelling at her partner and blocking us from leaving. I guess with how popular this parking structure is, you're bound to see something.

I have attended two conventions over the years at this site with the more recent one just last weekend. From the various wings and areas within the convention center to the arena, this is a great site to host several conferences at one time. There is plenty of parking and ground transportation nearby, and food options both within the convention center and next door in the two hotels. There are also many activities from sporting events, live music, performing arts, and dining options all within a short distance including both Disneyland and California Adventures. The Anaheim Convention Center also known as ACC is the largest exhibit facility on the West Coast. It originally opened in 1967 and spans 53 acres and offers 1.8 million square feet of function space and many dynamic features. It is considered one of the most flexible convention centers in North America. In addition to the Marriott and Hilton, there are also the Sheraton Park Hotel and the Westin nearby. There are multiple plazas and courts with outdoor spaces along with multiple ballroom spaces. They offer onsite event services and various ways they intentionally support sustainability and take care of the environment. You can learn more about the Anaheim Convention Center by going to https://www.anaheim.net/1117/Anaheim-Convention-Center. On this website, you can find resources for planning an event, attending an event, exhibiting at an event, events hosted at the convention center, news, and a place to submit a RFP. There is also information for nearby parking and local transportation. You can also find a virtual tour, details about the outdoor event space, sustainability initiatives, the best of Anaheim (hotels, dining, nightlife, culture, sports, and entertainment), and more. If you'll be in Anaheim at a conference or special event that is based in the Anaheim Convention Center, you're in for a treat!

The shuttle is free and drops you off right near the front entrance. The ride was quick, probably around 5 minutes, which made getting to and from the park pretty easy. One thing I didn't realize beforehand is that this is an outdoor parking lot and not a parking garage. There are several brands and options out there, but I didn't want to coordinate shipping to my home/installers to arrive/etc. Then I found that Costco sells a lift and does this coordination with a local installer. This is called "white glove" service from Costco. I bought a Challenger parking lift for my garage from Costco. These are fairly bulky, heavy items that require professional installation, so the lift is delivered directly to an authorized installer, who will deliver it to your home and set things up for use. CBI is an installer contracted with Costco, and handled the installation. Shane and his CBI team (led by Garth) are a very professional and efficient bunch. Scheduling the lift installation (this is not something for the average person to do alone) was a piece of cake. I was called by Shane once the lift arrived at their business, and we arranged installation a few days from that date. On the appointed day, the boys installed the home parking lift in my garage in just a few hours. All calls were returned promptly, and they were exactly on time. The guys were polite and cleaned up all their equipment and left zero trash, etc. And, of course, the lift performs exactly as expected. Once installed, Garth demonstrated the use of the lift and explained the details of the installation. Overall, I can not recommend CBI highly enough.
