FRAUD!!! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGE! We used Ace parking online to book a night in a garage and it turned out... they DO NOT work with that garage! So when we went to park the car, we were told it was a scam... It's like if I decide to rent you my neighbors' house! To make matters even worse, when we asked for our money back they kept 1 dollar for the trouble of the reimbursement. Unbelievable. read more

Decent parking garage for downtown Oakland. I drove by a few others and found that this one was the best out of all of them. I had to park here to get to the city permits office for work, and I loved that it was only a short 8 minute walk to the permit office! Super awesome. On the downside, it was very expensive. I parked here for about 1.5 hours and it cost me $15.00. It's definitely on the pricier side as far as parking garages go. Ample parking and plenty of places to choose from. read more

I always park at this garage when I'm in downtown Oakland. Yes, I admit it's a bit pricey at $2 per 20 minutes up to a max of $25 per day. But it's über safe, extremely easy to get in and out of, and I've never had to hunt around for more than 2 minutes for a parking spot. The pay machines are easy to operate with card or cash, and give you change for large bills (like twenties). And they always have personnel on site to help in case anything goes awry (which has never happened to me in several years of parking here). So guess where I'll be parking next time I'm in Oakland downtown? read more

Worst experience ever dealing with their manager. Our company has monthly parking here and doesn't look like we'll keep it with them due to their piss poor service. Long story short, they DONT have nightly patrols here. Our windows got bashed in. While dealing with insurance and the police, we were able to get safelite to come fix our windows. Their on duty manager wants us to cover their entrance fee while fixing the windows. What an awesome way to kick us down even further. read more

I parked at this lot for a couple years. Things were great until new management - Ace Parking Management - took over. AMPCO was the previous company in charge. I never got any of the notifications about the change until it was too late. One thing led to another, and the next thing I know they terminated my account and wanted to raise my rate by 50% to reinstate it. Stay away from these guys, they're bad news. read more

The garage they operate on 23rd between Broadway and Valley is horrible! There's a constant beeping from the garage door that just makes parking here so stressful. It feels unsafe since they got rid of the guard stationed at the entrance. Its eerie. read more

If zero stars were an option, then that is what they would have received! Ever since AMPCO was taken over by ACE, the monthly parkers have been treated unfairly. My company has over 100 monthly parkers who just found out TODAY that the rate will increase next month by an additional $40! Most of us never received notification of the change from the company. If it were not for the word of mouth method (that I presume they prefer), then we would never have known. To make things worse, they have taken up several parking spots for their new car wash business. I guess if you want to know where a companies loyalty resides then just follow their practices and treatment of their current customers. I guess we are not loyal enough for them (4+ years). I work nearby and this garage is the best deal around for monthly parking. Unlike others in the area, it is open later at night including weekends. Club One and some other business can validate. The garage is huge, so there's always space (another competing garage fills up so even monthly users get rejected). Monthly users have an entirely different entrance and exit, so the random freak that parks in the exit and gets into a fight with management will never make you late. (this seems to happen a lot in Oakland....) It's professionally run so if there's a problem with your account, someone on site can actually help you- the lackeys at other garages nearby just give you the "not my problem" shrug. Check with your employer for discounts- with my employer's discount it is $130/mo. The competing garages wanted $170/mo. read more

Beware that weekend parking is now a $15 flat rate *only*. They do not charge for hourly increments on weekends as they do on weekdays. Their signage outside is not clear about this change. It was quite a shock to run up to my office in the City Center to pick something up and get charged $15 for 10 minutes of parking. I spoke to the employee who said that he could not give me a refund. He did gave me two parking validations for one hour each (worth $8 each at the garage's usual weekday rate of $2 per 15 minutes), but I would typically never park in this garage for only an hour when there are much cheaper garages in the area. For example, Merchants Garage is two blocks away and charges $12 for the full day. read more

This is the worse garage and a real fire hazard. I attended the Art & Soul Festival on Sat. July 28,2018. I paid $28 at 6:01p and the arm went up but the gate came down entrapping us and 6-8 cars behind me. I pushed the button for help and waited, finally a parking attendant came and told me I needed to pay and I showed him my paid ticket. He tried to open the gate with a card but to no avail. He played w the emergency panel then called another employee who was just as clueless, they both kept opening a side door which was not able to get our cars out. I asked about a chain w a padlock near the garage which appeared to look like the manual emergency release but no-one had a key even the building maintenance guy seem totally dumfounded. We finally after a full hour asked to be let out thru the garage at clay st which was open and led to the festival. they eventually let us out thru the monthly park garage. We were held captive for a whole hour. I will also report this to the Oakland Fire Depart. Very dangerous and utterly ridiculous!!!! read more

So they abruptly cancelled an agreement with Club One / Active Sports for discounted parking? What gives?!?!

On top of being overpriced I had to use two parking validations that I prepaid for to get out. I validated my ticket at the machine and threw the validation away (like I've done 20 times before). The machine at the exit wouldn't accept the ticket so I pushed the button to call for help. The girl who answered told me to scan another validation card to get out. I validated my ticket AGAIN and called back expecting to be reimbursed for the second validation. Not sure if the machine was cutting her off of she kept hanging up but I had to call several times. She told me to drive to the office on the other side of the garage, the when I got there she asked to see my ticket which was still in the machine. I had to drive back to the other side of the garage to push the cancel button and no surprise, my ticket didn't come back out. I called back because now I was stuck without a ticket. I'm pretty sure she didn't believe me but she finally let me go. So I wasted 20 minutes, two validations and will never park there again. read more
