He came out and charged $975 for less than 5 minutes of work with a sledgehammer. If I wanted the section replaced, he wanted $1500. When I complained he said he was so expensive because he was a "professional". He also wanted $150 each for 10 new rollers. I declined and called Overhead Door who I trusted and used in the past. They came right out and replaced the section of track, placed all 10 rollers and programmed my two cars to open my garage door. All these services were $310.00! The guys they sent were polite and fast and a delight to work with. They were the real professionals. I love OVERHEAD DOOR and will not call anyone else in the future. As for Daniel Perets, I feel he took advantage of me in a crisis. I am 77 years old and this is shameful behavior on his part.

This company is a joke! They sent a guy out who told me that my motor was fine but this little…read moreplastic piece (the inner slide) on the chain needed replacing. He said that they don't sell that part but they always have them in with the discarded motors and he would look for me. I told him I liked to recycle, and he said they did too! Great!! He leaves and 15 minutes later calls me to say he can't find one and if that's the case I will have to replace the motor at $900. I found that suspicious since it had only been 15 minutes and he was probably still driving, but I said I was patient and to keep looking. He told me he would and would get back to me the next week. The very next morning I get a call from a different guy saying he will be coming out between 2-5. I excitedly said "you found the part!". He said they did not and the company does not sell that replacement part. So I asked what his purpose of coming out was and he said he had a motor loaded and was going to install. I then tell him that I feel like I am being scammed since the day before the guy said he would be looking for it. And now they've skipped straight to needing a motor replacement for an already working motor. I asked if I could buy the part online and he said I could try. I searched for all of 2 minutes and found it for $3 on preferred doors llc. Called back and spoke to a woman to tell her that I found the part for $3, so it would be crazy replace the motor for $900! She said she would cancel the appointment and told me to let them know when the part arrived. Yesterday the part came and I immediately called them to schedule. The same woman answered the phone and said she spoke to the manager/owner and he's not going to install anything that's not theirs. When I asked to speak to the owner, she told me he was gone for the weekend and wouldn't be back until Tuesday. As I was asking if I could leave a message for him, she cut me off to say "have a good day, buh bye" then hung up on me. Incredibly rude and dismissive. Side note: I watched a YouTube video and installed it in 20 minutes for $3. Garage back in working order!! I would suggest taking advantage of the internet and chat gbt! A little research can save you a ton of money!!

Although we initially thought our old gas fireplace simply needed servicing, it quickly became apparent that a total replacement was necessary. We visited The Stove Place 2's Harwich Port shop and spoke with Jeff, the owner. Jeff is a plain-spoken, straight shooter - the only kind I want to work with. He advised us on the models most likely to fit our current firebox, and what our installation options might be. Jeff really knows his business, so we were quickly able to choose the best solution for us. The people we worked with for the actual installation - Jeff, Bob, Dave, and Kent - were fantastic! I do not say this lightly, as I am a fairly tough critic. In short, they did what they said they would do when they said they would do it, and they did it well. Pricing was more than fair, and the customer attention was incredible. That's getting harder and harder to say that these days! Bottom line, if you live on Cape Cod and your fireplace (gas insert or otherwise) needs attention, you owe it to yourself to contact The Stove Place 2.
