As a below-the-knee amputee, navigating large stores can be a real challenge. I was in a mobility cart, completely lost while trying to find irrigation piping connectors and glue. I had been wandering around for about 30 minutes, and at one point, my path was blocked by a large rolling ladder. Without me even having to ask twice, your amazing employees jumped right in. They moved the ladder out of my way and guided me directly to everything I needed. Without their help, I honestly would have been stuck in the store until closing time! On top of that, they even helped me check out. I'm usually not a fan of self-checkout, but they stepped up and took care of everything for me with total kindness and respect. It is so refreshing to be treated like a real person. By far, this Merritt Island location is the most exceptional Home Depot I have ever visited--and I've been to stores all across the country (both before and after losing my leg). Lowe's doesn't even come close; they don't treat me with the human decency I experience here. Home Depot is my absolute only choice for a hardware store. To management: you have trained an extraordinary team--don't sell yourselves short! In my book, this is the single best Home Depot in the nation. Techs came out, poked around, and said the LiftMaster motor was shot. I needed to replace the entire opener and all door hardware. I asked if the motor was under warranty. I was told that if I could provide the proof of warranty, they would honor it. I was then told that they could not get any LiftMaster motors due to COVID-19 but if I could order one from the factory, they would come and install it... at a cost of over $1200 including all new hardware. So I was left with an inoperable door, having to prove I purchased the opener through Precision, and order my own parts. Thanks for absolutely nothing! I called another Garage Door company on the Space Coast. Owner came out that afternoon, said it was the capacitor, replaced the cap, springs, and cables for $400. Door is working great. There are many Garage Door alternatives to Precision in the Space Coast area. There is no reason to work with Precision Door unless you want to pay three times the price for bad service. I kick myself for purchasing the original door from them. Makes me wonder how badly I was taken!

The service guy brought a new motor but pressed a button and the blind worked again. The service guy said the service call was for an install, but he did not install. He said the service call was to install a motor which was not needed. The office sent me a a yelling text baring me from further service. Other companies are jumping on the added cost to a warranty by charging a service call. Ask about service after the sale.

One of the blinds he installed was done so poorly that we have had to make a warranty claim on the blind itself & it is still failing. The owner has an attitude and is not customer service oriented. Use caution when using this company because they are independently owned and there is zero corporate oversight. If you have a problem it is between customer and owner. Twice this past year I have taken off from work to meet the owner at my residence to address the poor installation he did on our guest room and he's no showed/no called. There is always an excuse when dealing with him. His customer service skills are so poor he can't even give you a heads up that he needs to cancel. There are several other companies on the Space Coast that are in the blind business and their prices are incredibly competitive with Budget Blinds Merritt Island. Do yourself a favor and avoid the headache of using this business. Their great in the beginning but once the check clears and they're gone you are on your own. Bottomline their shoddy and do not stand by their products or installation services.
