Working with Everything Goez has, by far, been the easiest part of moving out of my old condo. Who…read moreknew that instead of stressing about what to do with all your old crap, you could call a truck and just make it go away? And Carrie was so responsive via messages/texts/calls, and got me scheduled so quick, I was like...whoa, where'd that stress go? Couple guys showed up before the truck did, and they didn't hesitate to just get in and start breaking things down and moving it out. And good grief, they were so freaking fast! I was so surprised considering some of the items they moved for me (a couch, full bedroom set, a dining set)--they got this done in just over an hour! I didn't think I'd fill an entire truck, but I severely underestimated how much crap I'd accumulated in 8 years. A week later, when I finally decided I couldn't avoid my stupid garage anymore, I knew I'd need them again. So, I reached out super last minute (like, literally called them on Saturday and asked if they could come in on a Sunday--REPEAT: A SUNDAY...IN UTAH), and they didn't blink! Not only that, but they were so fast in getting everything out of the garage, that they came upstairs and offered to help purge more stuff! I mean, it's a Sunday right, so I figured they'd want to get the hell out of there. But nope, instead Phil (without hesitation) just goes "we're here, put us to work!". They will literally take everything, and before they take anything to the junkyard, they sift through and donate/recycle what they can first. And their prices were beyond reasonable (especially considering the bid I got from Got Junk...hard pass). Phil and Carrie, I can't thank you enough for how much stress you took off my shoulders during my move. Thank you and your crew so much!!

Shortly after 4:10 PM, after getting no call from the manager and the company still not showing up - I canceled my call. And did not book another appointment. I called another company and they came out today and were on time - and I gave them a great review.

I had no idea just how much the Trans-Jordan Landfill did, until I took a tour today! It was very…read moreeducational-I learned a lot and got to see the spaces up close and personal. Garbage is handled in an environmentally sound manner, according to government regulations. Sure, it's still best to reduce the amount of things you throw away in the beginning, but there will still be some things that just can't be recycled and need to be dealt with. The general public can bring trash here (cover your load or you'll get charged double). You can also bring recycling or household chemicals, etc. There's a shed where you can leave chemicals, paint, cleaners, etc. and take them for free. I'm making a mental note of that so I can remember in the future. They are building their last "cell" which is a space where the garbage is disposed, covered and methane gas is extracted for power. Once that is full, then this landfill will be at max capacity and our trash will have to be shipped to Utah county. This is a great facility that is handled very well. I wish we weren't such a wasteful society, but since we are, we need places like the Trans-Jordan Landfill to manage the excess.
