We also had a second driveway, apron and curb installed (along with replacing the associated sidewalk). From the very first meeting with Garrett, everyone at Flat and Fancy has been professional in all aspects. Garrett was very clear on our options and worked with the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department to get all the required permits in place. The crew performing the actual work was friendly, professional and kept us informed when the city dictated changes to the approved plans. They worked with the inspector to minimize the impact of those changes. The concrete work is better quality than what I've seen on a work related project where we're paying millions.... I won't mention that company by name but Flat and Fancy far outshined that work. The finished product is very nice and is exactly (less the city dictated changes...) what we needed for our home. I'll get some pictures up so you can see but we definitely recommend them.

We called back on July 10th to follow up and let them know we had not yet gotten the bid. We were told that they thought that they sent an email to inform us that they had too many jobs going on through the end of the year and they could not do our job. QUESTION??? did they suddenly get totally booked through the end of the year "Before" they came to give us an estimate or did they get totally booked "After" they came??? My first comment to that is - So very inconsiderste- We are busy too ... We don't have time for contractors to waist our time and then not even have enough professionalism to follow up with us... I guess they were too busy in this last month to send us a email or text to say what I believe...is that they just don't have time for the small jobs. I guess they are really too big and "suddenly" to busy for the small jobs. But we can take them at their word and if you were thinking about callling them you should be aware that they said they are already booked until the end of the year.

I would consider ourselves (my husband and myself) to be extremely knowledgeable in home renovations, and both of us are perfectionists to an extent. Even so, we wanted to leave the stacked stone project to professionals, and Sundance Masonry employs true professionals. As the person who was home while they installed the stacked stone, I noticed how they used both digital and regular levels during the stone installation to ensure that nothing turned out lop-sided or slanted during the process. (Unfortunately, there are too many "professionals" who don't seem to understand the importance of using a level during installations.). Additionally, we were impressed that Dimas and his crew went to extensive measures to protect our existing floors, some of which had just been refinished, by putting down plastic, tarps, and plywood to protect them during the installation process. All of them were extremely careful to avoid bumping into our freshly-painted walls with their scaffolding as they brought it in as they were ready to begin the project AND when they carried it back out upon completing the project. Although there was some dusting/cleaning that needed to be done when they had finished (one can imagine that this type of work does create a bit of a mess), the crew did an outstanding job cleaning up after themselves. Their price point was extremely reasonable, and I will definitely hire them again for any masonry projects we decide to pursue in the future! I love, love, love the end result! Although the initial work seemed satisfactory, the continued settling suggests an underlying issue that they have now refused to address.
