I just had the worst experience for customer service here. There's a fine line between "working" and providing "customer service." I find a lot of people put in positions for customer service have a hard time distinguishing between the two. One of the people who has difficulty with that is Frank, "the manager" at this location. The location closes at 7:00pm and I got to the door at 7:01. He is dealing with a customer and sees me at the door, and chooses not only to ignore me, but when I called to explain the purpose of my visit, (which took 2 extra seconds of his time) take the phone off the hook to the business.
When I made it inside, by the customer he was dealing with exiting, he tells me "we're closed," and tries to count the cash drawer that he pulled mid-transaction with the previous customer. I explained to him how rude I thought he was for ignoring me. Lame Frank says "I didn't see you there, I was dealing with a customer." I turned to the young lady who he was working with and said "is that why you took the phone off the hook, because you two didn't see me?" She shyly hid her face in his sleeve [Guilt]. I told him why I was there and also told him his customer service was why I wouldn't return and stated I would use "a Check Cashing Store" and Frank told me "use Amscot, they're cheaper!" So on top of everything else, his stupid notions, horrible attitude & snarky comments, he advocates for the competitors. So all in all thanks Frank, I will use Amscot, they have better attitudes and hours. I suggest everyone considering this business/location skip it and do the same! And Ace Cash Express you should thank Frank too for losing a loyal, well paying customer! read more
