We needed our taxes to be completed from two different states as we recently moved to Connecticut. It was quite complex, but Nyandah did an excellent job filing our taxes for us. She was willing to set up our appointment after my fiancee and I finished work and worked very hard until 8 pm that evening. We really appreciated her hard working attitude and couldn't be happier with the service we received. She is extremely intelligent, and professional. She knew exactly the right questions to ask and was able to hone in on which information she needed from us. At the end of the day, we were also both really happy to be receiving tax refunds from the federal government and the states. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

I kept checking with the IRS for my status and it couldn't find my return. I thought it was due to the volume so I waited, patiently. When i finally called and checked (after the April 15th deadline) he admitted to forgetting to file. Last year he had to be prompted as to where my status was. This year same thing. I have called three times. He hasn't returned my calls. I spoke to one lady who said the status is on a white board and she could see he was missing two things. Why wasn't I notified??? I provided them. Have called twice and nothing. Yes, lackadaisical may be too nice of a word.

I typically just use Turbotax for my taxes and my partner's taxes if it's a simple tax year, but a…read morefew years ago I had ridiculously complicated taxes to correct and file from being incorrectly paid as an independent contractor instead of as an employee (long story short: I was young and naive with a terrible boss who tried to skip paying for my taxes; it was kind of a mess). So I went to Steve and he and his staff completely took care of everything, and explained it all to me. It was totally seamless and the fee was so reasonable too! Later on I moved across the country and looked locally for a new CPA for my partner's taxes that were slightly complicated from the move, but all of the quotes I was getting were astronomical (think $500+ fee), so I reached out to Steve and he was super nice and took care of my taxes again remotely without a problem, again for a much more reasonable price and in the middle of the busy tax season no less. I definitely would recommend Steve; he's the best!

I've been working with that set for almost a year and it hasn't helped me land interviews, or offers for that matter. My career hasn't been traditional. I've done several different jobs and recently looking for another career change was difficult. After beating my head against the wall for months I realized my resume wasn't modern and it didn't compare with my peers. I needed someone to rewrite it for me. Again. I'm terrible at it so I needed someone to do it for me. Dave sat down and interviewed me, asked questions and tried to really understand my background. I gave him the last two versions of my resume and filled in some blanks for him. I also wrote a description of a large project I had worked on which he used to craft a cover letter that tells a story about me. What I ended up with was a resume I was excited to send out and two cover letters for different roles that tell relevant stories of my experience. I was very happy with the results. As Dave was writing we had to go back and forth a little bit with questions/answers and sort out little details. He was quick and responsive. It was more in depth than the previous person I used. And it worked! I had a handful of interviews a few weeks later, and accepted an offer a little less than 3 months later. I highly recommend Dave. He's easy to work with, and his writing is way better than mine!
