On top of being in pain due to injuries and mentally exhausted; they lack BASIC COMMUNICATION SKILLS. This is NOT a firm one can feel comfort in them representing you. They're short staff and the staff they DO have is ALWAYS out on vacation, time off and "family emergencies." Even when the staff are in, they're always leaving early -- allegedly. The receptionists are rude and when you express your grievances and dissatisfaction, they laugh. They do not exemplify a firm that actually fights for you. They go with whatever floats the boat and respond with "you're my best interest because you are how I get paid. I'm not here to BS you." As someone who works in this line of business, this firm was the worst referral I could've received. You feel as though you work for the firm with the amount of times they request you to give them reminders with simple tasks such as following up. Despite our family promptly providing Mr. O'rourke with everything he's asked for in the past nearly 7 months, we've yet to settle our matters and there's no end in sight. In fact, we currently can't get a straight answer from him as to the status of our estate issue as he avoids our calls and emails. We're at a breaking point with this man who blew up with us over the phone when we finally got a hold of him just last week as we voiced our frustrations with his lack of service. He threatened to just drop us, mind you he was with another client while telling us this over the phone, despite our objections of him doing so. If things change in the next week or so and there's some type of resolution to our matter, I'll be happy to change this review. As of now, neither I or my family can recommend Mr. O'rourke's services.

I spent weeks trying to obtain basic information that should have been routine, and I repeatedly had to follow up just to get acknowledgment that my emails were received. Requests about billing, case status, and access to my own client file often went unanswered despite multiple follow-ups and approaching deadlines. Access to my own case file became an ordeal. Despite repeated requests, I was not provided a complete copy of my file. When I went to the office in person after being told in writing to do so, I was not allowed to review my file before being asked to sign documents, was not given a copy, and was left waiting for a prolonged period. The interaction with staff felt hostile and intimidating, which was deeply uncomfortable in a professional setting. Billing raised serious red flags. The invoice I eventually received contained vague descriptions, overlapping entries, inconsistent hourly rates, and unexplained charges that did not align with my understanding of the work performed. Requests for clarification were ignored or left unresolved, leaving me unable to meaningfully assess what I was being charged for. The cumulative effect of delayed billing, lack of transparency, and prolonged silence directly interfered with my ability to transition to new counsel and prepare for time-sensitive matters. The experience eroded any confidence I had in the firm's ability to manage a matter efficiently. Nothing about this process felt client-centered. This review reflects my personal experience and documented interactions. Based on that experience, I strongly caution anyone considering this firm to keep meticulous records, insist on clear and timely communication, and closely scrutinize all billing. I would not choose this firm again.
