I made an initial contact to this New Market office about 6 weeks ago with a lengthy email…read moredetailing me & my husband's current income, employment situation, debt history etc so that they had a lot of info about us prior to their follow up call so that they knew what they'd be dealing with prior to them following up. I did get receive a phone call from Skip, mortgage broker & owner of Revolutionary, the next day. He was pleasant to talk to on the phone and during our conversation I indicated we were just beginning the home buying process but not sure if we would qualify as my credit score was already on the bubble for being Fair/Good and I really can't afford my score being adversely affected even a few points with an unnecessary check. I also let him know I don't work; however, but my husband has a good income yet awful credit. So I stated I was very uneasy about having our credit ran unless he really thought he could help us. I even verbally provided my credit score to him which I knew was within 8-10 points. He insisted he would need to run it to get the full picture. He stated that there are so many mortgage programs out there and felt certain he could find one work for us. Ultimately, I did give permission for him to do so BUT I NEVER HEARD BACK FROM HIM AGAIN despite me leaving multiple voice mail messages and even spoke with him twice as he stated he was on his way out the door and promised to call me that evening. Alas, never heard from this guy again. I'm assuming he couldn't make any money off of us & we just were not worth a 5 minute phone call. All I expected was some mere courtesy by letting me know! He even promised to provide me with a physical copy of my credit score which he is actually mandated by law to do so. Never got it. Beyond unprofessional & rude! Luckily I found a reputable & knowledgable broker who found us a loan. This is my first public negative review of any company because my husband owns a small local business and we know how detrimental they can be to the success of a business. It's unfortunate but this guy deserves it! If you are shopping for a lender, take my advice and get personal recommendations from family, friends, and/or co-workers. DO NOT RANDOMLY PICK SOMEONE OFF THE WEB LIKE I DID.

If you…read morewant a real estate agent that is all talk, puts a sign in the yard, reactive and not proactive, and does not hustle for a sale, this agency is for you! "This sale was not good. I would give it a 3 out of 10, with 10 being highest. 1) House was listed way above market price, even though owners pressed KW on listing day if price was too high. This makes me think that we were told what we wanted to hear vs. what actuality was. 2) Sherry the stager was excellent. 3) Marketing was good. 4) Matt (initial agent) was way too slow to react to the pricing issue. The rule of 10 showings and drop $10K was not even close to accurate. It needed to be a $25K-$30K drop after 10 showings. Was Matt asleep at the wheel? 5) I reacted to the pricing issue and brought the price down to $495K.........Matt wanted to drop to $475K........how in God's name does the realtor swing from a listed price of $535K to $475K and think this is acting in customers best interest? 6) Offer..........just wow. A) Anna calls us and indicates she is taking over the sale approx 5/25, so there are "no closing issues". B) Not sure where to start on the closing issues, but 4 late and missed closing dates is appalling. C) Anna thinking we would still close on 6/11 with appraisal not done by 6/7, lacked real-world knowledge. The closing date should have been pushed 2 weeks at this point, as I believe KW knew nothing at this time, as we were not able to communicate to our AZ realtor effectively. This showed extreme lack of knowledge. D) "Doing everything we can" became KW mantra.........we lost confidence. E) Calling Kim Zoreff (sp) was a total waste of time after the 2nd or 3rd missed closing. Got a soppy message back to call Mike, and bring him upto speed? Was this a serious message? I have to bring another of KW employees upto speed? That is your job and you performed a 0. F) The tenacity showed by Anna after the initial closing date was missed, should have been shown leading upto the closing date. At least 2 weeks prior, so people could plan. This was about my 6th home closing, and was an abomination compared to the others. One of the previous closings was also late, but we were told a week or so prior, so were able to communicate effectively and plan. This process could have been handled much easier with a simple checklist heading into initial closing 1-2 weeks prior. A simple checklist would have brought to light the buyers issues, and we could have had an intelligent conversation with all involved as soon as we got a sniff of their mortgage lender issues. 3 of my neighbors have asked about KW, and the above is what I have basically told them. The only worse player in this scenario was the buyers agent, and i will be addressing him very soon. You asked for feedback, and you have rec'd feedback. I would recommend the checklist idea to find these types of closing issues must earlier in the process."

As this was my first home purchase, I needed some help walking through the process and he empowered me with all the information I needed to be able to look at homes I could realistically afford, and when we made an offer with a VERY tight timeline for closing, he was tireless in gathering all of our materials, staying in touch, and preparing our loan with lightening speed. I have heard so many horror stories from friends who felt swindled after working with a lender, and I am pleased to report that this is NOT the case with Mr. Morley. On top of how efficient he was, we priced out his competitors and he also gave us the best rate. I would highly recommend contacting him!
