I had been a client of this firm since 2018 and had positive experiences, but this recent tax…read moreseason changed my opinion sadly. Communication was inconsistent, and I repeatedly had to follow up for updates. The most serious issue involved an admitted oversight related to projected tax liability for 2026 (something I didn't ask for), which has caused hours dealing with the IRS and a moderate amount of stress. What left the worst impression was the response afterward. Rather than taking meaningful accountability for communication failures and oversight, the focus was placed on defending the return's technical accuracy and justifying the fee. The small "goodwill adjustment" offered felt dismissive given the amount of time and frustration involved. Accuracy is expected from a paid tax professional. Communication, attention to detail, and client support are what separate a quality firm, and unfortunately this experience fell short in those areas.

Came across a Reddit post about how important it is to have a trusting independent insurance agent…read morethat works in your best interest. I knew I had to come give Tom a big shout out. Tom helped us with our HOI a few years ago when we first purchased our home. Tom was great in going over the questions regarding our home and the coverage we should have. The conversation felt easy after the whirlwind of home purchasing. Our experience with Tom was probably the easiest and most stress free until we got the keys to our house. Recently we needed Tom to help make an update to our HOI policy. I sent an email and left a voicemail, Tom phoned back quickly and got what we needed taken cared of. This was such a win, since we really haven't had to chat since 2019. I highly recommend Tom for your insurance needs. He really is awesome to work with here in Austin, TX!
