Received notification that my home rate was skyrocketing almost 40%. Called to inquire. Their only…read moresolution was for me to bundle my auto policy with them, which I did not want to do. Regrettably, I gave them all of my vehicles VINs and details so they could quote it, never to be heard from. Called back after two weeks of no follow up. In the end, they were not willing to do anything to help me. 28 years of patronage ended, basically with "we don't care". I understand rate increases, but this is exorbitant. Comps and discussions with friends with similar setups are all roughy 50-60% of my CURRENT rate, let alone the increased rate. Not doing much to kill the " guy in the trenchcoat selling wristwatches" vibe. Moving on.
