(no points or anything for either of us on our licenses by the way) We have paid thousands of dollars in premiums for renters insurance, life, auto, etc. over our time with #statefarm but exceeded their "$1550 threshold" for auto claim payments. We even contested it with my agent's office and were turned down (through a nameless "underwriter"). My agent never even bothered to call us himself. My agent is #jimhabick in Easton PA. Going with Allstate my monthly payments went from $151.83 with Geico (recommended on a Saturday night at the dealership) to $62.40 with Allstate for identical coverage. On top of that I receive an additional $30 monthly discount on my homeowners insurance with them as well. And I didn't even receive the discount yet for downloading their app and driving safely...yeah :) I talked to Rachel at the George Denger office and she couldn't have been more helpful, explaining absolutely everything to me in ways I understand; giving me examples. She also mailed me another insurance and registration form plastic holder I asked for even though I had signed up for the "paperless" discount. Very competent and helpful person! Thank you. Also, years ago when a heating oil delivery company spilled oil into my backyard, not only did Allstate cover all the cost associated with getting the Environmental Protection Agency out to my property (from western Pa) for clean-up, but they also refunded me the $500 deductible I have on my homeowners insurance since "this wasn't your fault". Seems very fair, I wonder if another insurance company would have given me back money they didn't have to. Highly recommend this particular Allstate agency for auto and homeowners insurance.
