My results are not even close to all the posters in his office. Didn't ask, didn't care if I was happy with it. His Assistant told him my concern, he said "I'm not taking that off!"Okay, no problem. He truly understands the runners mentality and does a super job explaining what your issue is, and how he can help it. He also personally grades every new running sneakers that comes out and categorizes it appropriately. In my case, he was able to recommend 4 different pairs of running shoes, and along with an orthopedic, I was up and running pain free in no time. To summarize, he saw my injury, diagnosed the cause. Advised me on the timeline it will take to heal, and then worked on trying to find a solution. This isn't an exact science, and we played with different sneaker inserts and sneakers, but eventually we found the right combo. Since meeting him, I was able to finish two Ironmans and 2 more marathons; and he's by far the biggest reason I was able to. I now go periodically just to do checkups on my inserts and love every visit. I recommend him to all my runner friends and they all love him just as much.

This is what a practitioner is always supposed to make their patients feel like regardless of the specialty we are seeking service for. I will always keep my practitioners who I have these relationships with regardless of how far I have to drive to see them. By the way my podiatrist is always available via phone, email, and for emergency visits. He definitely will have what I call and request completed within an hour so I can move on with the rest of my day.

Numbing injections were used for the proximal correction and nitrogen spray for the distal. It was completed efficiently and cleanly. 2-wk follow-up appointments were scheduled prior to leaving, to ensure healing process is on track (good-to-go). Received a follow-up call 4 weeks later to check to see if the proximal case needed to be revisited (boy, do they know they're timelines!) - which it did. Wishing they took our new insurance as we wanted to go back for surgery to correct the issue for good but since they're now out-of-network, ended up scheduling elsewhere closer to home. We'll see how that goes, but I would definitely go back to them if we could! Only thing challenging about this location is the street parking (meter), if you can find one. Best to have someone drive you and wait. They're pretty quick on service anyway.

Dr. Samofal gave us orthotics and showed us exercises to do. My daughter is 4 now and we have seen Dr. Samofal several times since the first visit.
