Eugene is responsible for many of the trees and shrubs in my yard, and he knows how to pick the right ones. He is a veritable plant encyclopedia. Green Gene's takes my irrigation down for the season, cleaning out each zone, and right on time he comes to hook it back up and see that it works properly zone by zone. He does not tack on extra charges and is fair about his pricing. Don't hesitate to call him because I have rarely gotten the same pricing, service or attention from another landscaper since 2004 when I relocated here.

Well, Mr. Warren had way better ideas than I did. I would not have thought of the landscaping plan that Eugene came up with. Gene's team expanded the bed in my front yard & transplanted several bushes so that lots of plants & flowers could be put in. Proper prep work was done before the plants were put in, so they will have an environment in which they can flourish. I am very happy with the finished project, and I am really excited for the plants to grow & fill-in. I now have the best yard on the block.

Jon and Beth came up with a plan that was reasonable and logical and took into consideration the amount of pesky deer we have to deal with. I am not given to hyperbole with respect to my contractors, but my property truly looks exquisite after the thought and care that Jon has put into it. The yard looks amazing, and Corby was a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. He really listened to what we wanted and kept us involved every step of the way. We explained that we want to get away from grass and that we don't use the irrigation system that came with the house. Even though we were out of town while the work was being done, Corby kept us updated with photos and texts throughout the project. He even checked with us on the placement of a few of the larger plants before installing them. One thing we especially appreciated was his thoughtfulness. We had a large amount of pine needles that needed to be removed, and instead of hauling them away, he offered them to a neighbor who could use them. My sister was at our place and told me that Corby was very conscientious about locating and avoiding the irrigation lines during the installation. He was also extremely knowledgeable about plant care, including deer deterrence, watering requirements, and ongoing maintenance. What also stood out was his vision. He suggested incorporating boulders into the design, and at first we weren't entirely convinced. The more we talked about it, though, the more we could see what he had in mind. The finished result adds character and interest to the yard and feels much more unique than a cookie-cutter landscape design. Corby does outstanding work and is truly a joy to work with. I highly recommend him and his team!

The owner of the house we purchased a couple of years ago, had abandoned the yard for years. We…read morecontacted a couple of companies for bids. Our requirements were that the plantings be deer and drought resistant since we aren't here in the summer and that we have a minimal amount of grass that wouldn't need watering. We liked Paul right away because he listened to what we had to say. At the same time he didn't do anything we asked for. Later on, I suggested a design element and he politely told me it wasn't a good design and he'd come up with an alternative. I liked that. One of our requirements was that he put in smaller plants or plants that spread to keep to our budget. and he did this. Our property is on a hill and we have a lot of serious drainage problems. Paul's design dealt with the problems and directed the run-off to the woods. His installer was also extremely knowledgable and had worked with Paul for many years. During the installation, he was friendly and went to great effort to find blue stone for the small patio that matched the stone in the 40 year-old path to the front door. The stonework for the small patio and a couple of retaining walls is fabulous. We watched and it was done with great care. We've hired Leisure Landscapes to do our ongoing yard maintenance. We couldn't be happier with the results. He accommodated the playground that my husband had built, and created a design that is welcoming and fits with the house. I'd recommend the company highly.

If you have a landscaping project, you want to go with Josh at Dreamscapes. I revamped my entire…read moreyard and have gotten tons of compliments; even people stopping their car in the street to run up the driveway and ask who did the installation. I moved into my house 2 years ago, and some previous owners were an older couple who loved to garden. There were huge flower beds all over the yard with lots of things in there. Before they sold, however, these beds were unattended and started to go crazy with growth and weeds, as did the grass around it. With a new baby on the way for me, there was no way I could manage keeping up everything, and I wanted it handled right, so I called Josh and had him come out to take a look. Josh talked over my goals for a whole-yard revamp and combined my asks with his extensive experience to come up with a plan on how to remove the beds, re-grade some of the yard, and install extra drainage to make everything look good. Although 2020 and 2021 were not the best times for materials (in many industries, including landscaping) which delayed the project a while, Josh kept us up to date with his progress until his team was ready to install. The install went smoothly over the course of a few days, and Josh was there to help with guidance on watering to keep everything growing correctly. He stopped by every few days to check on things (although he didn't need to) and help me adjust watering times and sprinkler placement. Even now, weeks after the installation, he's still super responsive to my questions and has helped me keep everything looking good through the summer. If you want a landscaping project done right with a company that cares about long-term success for your yard, Dreamscapes is the way to go. I really can't recommend them enough.
