As a North American, I feel fortunate that Accent 4 exists at all. Compared to Radio Classique (Paris), Radio Suisse Classique, or RTS Espace 2--the only French-language Internet streaming stations that I know--, the programming is of very high quality, eschewing more "Top 40" classical music "hits." So I've supported Accent 4 with a donation (three-figure) in the past and will continue to. It would be nice, however, to receive some kind of acknowledgment of a donation. (Is that a European "thing"? I wonder). Classical music needs as much support in Europe as it does in North America, though I'm not sure how subsidized it is over there.
