We did not have Jay as our wedding photographer. But I assumed (incorrectly) that any photographers…read moreworking for him would be professional wedding photographers and know to move around in order to capture the entire reception. Our photographer stood in the same place for the entire reception, therefore capturing the same people over and over. There are no pictures of the groom's family's table or of the wedding party table. We have the same dancing pictures with the same people over and over. There is only one formal picture of the wedding party, very poor selection of photos of the bride only and none of the groomsmen getting ready when we specifically asked for that. Truly the best pictures we have are ones that friends and family took. Beyond disappointing and upsetting. The other terrible thing about Jay Grubb photography is how long it takes to get your pictures. We waited 18 weeks to get our pictures and then to be that disappointed after that long wait is completely inexcusable. Use another photographer for your precious memories.

When Jessica told us to do something, we did it and in return got GORGEOUS photos. We loved Jessica so much we flew her and her team out to Mexico with us! Jessica and her team took her time to research the area the day before. Very smart because the day of is total chaos. She knew exactly where to direct the family, us, and even take a major detour. (It became incredibly windy and we couldn't get any good shots with my hair blowing all over the place. She immediately said, "i know where to go to get you out of this. She then rounded up the entire bridal party and got us to a grassy location behind the hotel where no wind could reach us AND it was gorgeous. I didn't even know about this spot and I'm a repeat visitor, but Jessica did, thanks to her time investigating). This is the kind of dedicated service you're going to get with Jessica and her team. This photographer got into the ocean, along with us, to get the shot. You want her on your wedding team. Don't be scared either to discuss budget. Jessica is very fair and gracious. We never discounted her and in return she took care of us at each stage. We did our engagement shoot with her, our wedding, and the wedding album.

My family did a cake smash for our 1year old and paid more than our wedding photo with videography, she changed *500 for just creating the scenery no pictures included, and if you wanted just 1 digital photo with full right in sizes not 8'11 it was roughly 700 for one photograph, we spent about 2,500 for just the full size right of 40 photo no hardcopies, accessories included. And she also allowed no personal phones or video to be taking. Personally I wouldn't book another session, there are a lot of photographers in Jacksonville that can provide the same quality at a much lower cost. I did like her work but had buyer's remorse immediately after leaving the studio.
