Had multiple options to choose from in this neighborhood, however, we are glad we chose Acapello. We booked both maternity and newborn photoshoots together as there was a $50 discount in doing so. Loved the pictures taken by Amanda. Quick turnaround from appointment to the release of the pictures. Amanda is fast and she coordinates with clients very professionally. She gives enough bandwidth and indulges in talks as well to make everyone comfortable. She has a great idea of photography shots and top-notch quality output. Our newborn did not co-operate much during the shoot and Amanda spent an extra hour almost to make the photo shoot happen without any extra charges and concerns. I would highly recommend Acapello for the professional and very classy pictures for any occasion shoot. Here prices might be a little more than the competition but I bet pictures speak by themselves and quality comes with a cost especially in photography. I just left my session this morning and I have to say I had such a positive experience. I knew what to expect going into the session. Two days ago I received a reminder for the session which also included expectations and helpful tips. Yesterday I received another reminder via text with a shorter summary of helpful tips. I really appreciated that. During our session, communication was great before, during, and after. Before the session started, Amanda and her assistant gave me a brief consultation for wardrobe (she has a closet where we can pull from many styles). During, it seemed like Amanda had a vision in her head and went for it. She knows how to pose and direct what she was trying to portray in vision/photos. She is assertive and I like it. After the session, she again summarized expectations for results and turn around time (this info is also provided in her email from two days ago). Her studio is clean and I immediately felt comfortable there and around them. The studio has relaxed vibes and music also plays during the session; no awkward silence. I recently discovered Acapello Photography through my local twin moms club. She did a 15-minute mini session with our family for some photos for holiday cards. Amanda was responsive and upbeat even when one of my sons was refusing to cooperate. I was blown away by how many good shots she was able to capture in less than 15 minutes! I did a lot of research for photographers in the area to do our maternity photos and found Amanda through my Babymoon Inn Mommies page on Facebook. After reviewing her photos and pricing I reached out to her via email, her response time was quick and just her first email had a lot of information. She even went as far as sending me photos of places where we could take the pictures since I was so indecisive. Also, the gown I wore was included in the pricing. Payment was quick and easy via PayPal. Setting a date was easy as she sent me her available times for me to choose from. On the date of the photos, I had a few last minute questions and she promptly responded. She was early to the location and text me to make sure I knew where she was located and what car she was driving. Our session was 30 minutes long at $200 plus tax and she ended up taking quite a few photos in that time. She even went as far as showing me a few. I received the unedited photos two days later and was given 3 days to choose my 10 photos along with details on how to select the photos and add any notes (ex. I did not wear a bra so she was kind enough to smooth out my breasts). I sent the images and received the finals the very same day! The images were so beautiful I cried!! She was able to capture the love between my husband and I and the love we have for our expectant child. I'll forever cherish these photos! The poses are perfect, the lighting was perfect! I felt so beautiful even at 34 weeks pregnant! I cannot thank Amanda enough! We will definitely be back for family photos and future maternity photos! read more

Amanda has done family photos for us multiple times and every single time we are "wowed". When we started with her, we had a very energetic two year old who is so hard to capture on camera and somehow she managed to get the best photos of him. Being first time parents we thought it would only get easier from there- but no our little one is so active! She STILL manages to capture the best pictures of all of us. She goes above and beyond and I would highly recommend her to anyone. We found her on a Facebook "swip-swap" page and it was one of the best finds I have had, and I've found some pretty good deals on there! ;) she remains very professional but adds a personal touch. There is so much to say about this photographer and her art. She is incredibly easy to work with, makes you feel very comfortable, and even though we had a set 30 minute session, both times we have used her for our family photos not only did she stay longer than our allotted time, she also stayed after the session to talk to us about the process and get to know us a bit better. She works great with children. We have a unruly 2 almost 3 year old and both times he was a little madman. Both times she was patient and professional. As a parent that is such a blessing because many people will let you feel their stress or make you feel rushed. Never once felt that way with Amanda. Unless we somehow move out of state or Amanda retires, we will be using her for all of our professional photography needs. I read one bad review, and I'm not sure what other wedding services this lady was pricing out, but I wish her the best of luck trying to find an amazing photographer that will take your wedding photos for $200.
