Ben was recommended by our realtor and I'm so glad we went with his service. Our experience was…read moregreat because: (1) Ben was there for us and super responsive throughout the process, from showing up to look at multiple houses with us to calling sellers agents to advocate for us to taking care of all the mortgage paperwork and being patient to explain the details to this newbie. And he had all the processes and paperwork set up efficiently and digitally so there weren't any hitches. (2) Being a first-time homebuyer made me feel very vulnerable generally, so I especially appreciated feeling like I could rely on Ben -- that he was honest and capable and would know what to do when and lead us through the process and get things done the right way the first time and for our benefit. (3) Trust was rewarded when everything went well with the loan. We got what other people tell us is a great interest rate and impressively low closing costs, and that despite there being some atypical aspects to our situation. And it all got done in just 18 days from offer to settlement. I'm very pleased and thankful.

I called the number for a day and a half and it just rang and rang. Not even a voicemail prompt. Finally, I called their 800 customer service number and asked if they could connect me. After a very long hold, the agent told me he was also getting a never-ending ringing phone. He offered to email Tori and have her call me which she did later that day. Oddly, from the beginning her tone was very condescending. She acted very annoyed that I had asked someone else in her company to have her call me. She answered every question with the same annoyed and condescending tone. At the end of the call she actually insinuated I was trying to break an underwriting rule when I simply told her I could do something she requested. Needless to say, I'll be taking my loans and banking elsewhere.
