We got a couple installment loans with Security Finance trying to raise our credit scores. The ONLY…read morereason we went through this company was because we were promised that they DID report monthly to all 3 credit bureaus. After 18 months of payments, and several calls, they still had not reported one payment to the credit bureaus. After several calls to their corporate office, the Clearfield branch, and someone named Mike who is some kind of regional manager, they claim that they had multiple months of 'issues' with their reporting, so they simply stopped. Paying this ridiculous interest rate for a service not received, isn't something ANYONE should do. Please spend the money and get a secured loan at your credit union, who you are sure will report your on-time payments as promised. I'm currently filing a complaint with the Utah Department of Commerce/Consumer protection division. Mike says all the right things and has great communication skills. It's too damn bad the rest of their inept employees are not as gifted in the communication of their actual services (or lack thereof)
