She went on a HUGE tirade against me for asking what restaurants in the area do not allow dine-in but are still doing to-go. She described me as selfish for accommodating my housemates, one of which is very high risk for complications if they catch covid, and the other works at a school where they will not let you work if anyone you have been around shows any signs of sickness, and they would have to get a covid test before they could go back to work. She would not stop attacking me, even after I explained and asked her politely to stop, it was quite disturbing to see, and I would not suggest anyone use her services for any reason. I also noticed that she has a complaint filed against her and her company with the BBB.

Second, I paid for this class for my fiancé and I tried several times to contact the instructor to let her know this class was not for me, called her several times and sent several emails and she never returned my call or answered my emails. She did get my message though as my fiancé said she asked him about it to confirm. Docking a star there as I would have appreciated confirmation straight from her. My fiancé learned a lot and felt the class helped him. The class is small, at 15 or so. The instructor kept the class engaged; she will ask you to participate but she also has videos to accompany her instruction. She keeps you very informed about alternative transportation in the Austin Area should you need some sort of DD.

I will also add she is the only professional who actually gave us accurate and helpful information.Ann has the amazing ability to pinpoint the exact learning "breakdown" in your child. Once she identifies the areas that need work, she will design an individualized therapy program for your child's specific needs. There is a reason it's called Austin Learning Solutions, she offers brilliant solutions!!! As parents isn't that what we all want??My child's confidence has soared, and she has truly been transformed under Ann's guidance. Book your evaluation today!!

Learning sight words was particularly problematic for him as was identifying rhyming words and following multi-step directions. I am a former teacher, and my bag of tricks was not helping him. Ann evaluated our son in March of his Kinder year and quickly identified fundamental areas that we needed to address. We also began a Listening program using sound therapy to target sensory motor issues. Ann is the ultimate professional, but she is also a great motivator and coach. Although my son had started to shut down at school and with us at home, he was willing to work for Ann. She is just the right combination of no-nonsense and positive encouragement. She knows her stuff. I immediately felt that my son was safe in her hands and that our money was well spent. As a parent, I learned so much from watching Ann work with my son, and she gave me the confidence to implement what she was doing with my son at home. My son worked with Ann throughout the summer after his Kinder year on reading (in addition to doing a sound therapy program). The progress he has made with reading is truly remarkable, and I cry when I think about the difference in my boy in less than a year. We were already beginning to hear him make comments that he wasn't smart and that reading was too hard for him. Under Ann's guidance and instruction, our son's confidence has soared. Not only is he reading, but he views himself as a capable learner and reader -- HUGE!!

All the teachers are extremely caring and absolutely amazing with kids. Quite a few of them have been with CCOA for a long time and are very experienced when it comes to young children. Additionally, the facility is so impressive - we toured plenty of daycares and CCOA was by far the cleanest and brightest facility. The young babies/toddler building feels so cheery and it made us feel so relieved that our son was in such a warm and welcoming place. They also provide food and have a great menu selection, which makes our lives as parents that much easier. Lastly, communication from CCOA Jester is amazing. So many daycares are difficult to get in touch with, but CCOA is not like that at all. They are extremely responsive, and Miss Erica (the school director) is on top of everything. We were honestly blown away by the level of communication at CCOA Jester. Overall, I would highly recommend CCOA Jester to anyone looking for childcare! We have had a great experience here!

Within 2 months of attending, my son with disabilities did things we weren't sure he would ever do. 18 months later, he has made progress previously unimaginable. The on-site therapists are extraordinary, as is every single teacher, assistant, administrative professional, and intern. Every staff member makes the effort to know every child in the school, so every morning begins with a love fest. (welcome after the Austin commute!) The school's philosophy fosters love and respect and has taught both my children qualities they wouldn't have picked up elsewhere. The rockwall and zip line didn't hurt either in procuring their hearts forever ;) This school has changed our lives, and I am so grateful to have this resource in our community. I highly encourage anyone looking for a well rounded, creative, immensely supported school to look into Rise. I would send my kids there forever if I could!

Coming from someone who has very high expectations for child care and preschool, The Rise School is incredible. Teachers are highly-educated (all lead teachers have Master's degrees), well-trained with professional development opportunities at the school throughout the year, and incredibly good at what they do. Lesson plans and activities are well thought out and developmentally appropriate..and fun! My 2.5 year old has learned so much and I have absolutely no concerns during the day when he's there- I know he is not only receiving the best education possible (and it's SO important at this age!) but he is incredibly well taken care of. As former special education teachers, my husband and I were drawn to the fact that this school is inclusive and we love that he is learning in a diverse classroom, gaining an understanding and appreciation of differences, and ultimately becoming empathetic and kind, since these traits are embodied by everyone at the school and encouraged in classroom dynamics. This school is such a special place and you truly can't do better in terms of quality and safety than The Rise School!
