Not much in the line of men's clothing, but a lovely clean shop and a very nice staff..will definitely check back in every so often.

Pretty basic place as far as items available. Drove around to back to donate and watched as my first bagged items were tossed in the trash and the recycling bin. Made me mad. Guy back there didn't know what the item was(a couple of nice solid wood scarf hangers) so tossed them. I tend to donate decent stuff so I went inside, fished them out of the bin and took my stuff elsewhere. The thrift proceeds are to benefit developmentally delayed persons. Good. Fine. However,putting such persons in charge of decisions on what to keep and what to toss should not be in their control. Won't go back. read more

This is a great thrift shop with a worthy cause. If you like good deals this is the shop for you. Very friendly service. Prices are reasonable. We found a few good treasures here. Will be returning. read more

Favorite place to thrift in SLO county. So many treasures. They have an outside area in the back as well. Lots of clothing, kitchen items, and books. read more

Who knew a gem like this existed in Los Osos? The first floor of the store is all women's and men's clothes, there's a significantly larger selection of women's than men's. There are also books, shoes, and various accessories, such as belts and scarves. On the second floor, there's all sorts of household items and children's clothing. Once in a while, they'll have their brown bag sale: stuff all sorts of clothing, shoes, and accessories in a brown bag for $10. There are some good modern and vintage brands. Overall good selection. The ladies that work here are super sweet and adorable. read more

the Abundance shop is a "spiritual" place for me. It is connected to St. Benedict's Episcopal church, a place that is inclusive and welcomes everyone! It is a church focusing on social justice and diversity. I am not one for organized religion but this place has renewed my faith. When one enters the Abundance shop, one gets the feeling of "spirit" even in the mere "shopping experience". I love going into the shop because the folks working there truly are lovely humans. Once I told them I worked with kids from needy homes and they gave me a bag of stuffed animals for the kids! This place has a real heart. If you have fallen into hard times, they can help you find clothes for work and at reasonable prices. The first floor does have a lot of clothing, and I really like the book selection. I have always found inspiring books and magazines for sale there. upstairs has kids' stuff, like clothing and toys. As I wrote, I work with kids, so I get most of my kid games and toys there. It is worth a look when you are in the area, you will leave there feeling very good! Even if you don't buy anything! read more

I went on a thrift shopping adventure the other day and Abundance Thrift Store was on my list.. Pros: Perfectly average thrift store, Cheaper than Goodwill, Has the good, the bad, and the wonderfully ugly clothes, organized well, the ladies running the place were adorable! Excellent old school thrift store. Look elsewhere for collectible "boutique" pricing, they realize they're selling donated stock and price accordingly. Always plenty of interesting stuff, good turnover & as mentioned exceptional prices, particularly given the industry-wide infatuation with 'internet pricing' driven by made up numbers on Ebay (free advice to all thrift store pricers- search 'completed listings' to see how few of those 'valuable vintage items' ever sell). read more

Horrible volunteers. Just because they do volunteer does not mean customers should be subject to rudeness. The older man is awful and extremely obnoxious. If you dare ask about a price, he will state snidely that if one does not like the amount, then leave. The problem is, I was not asking for a price reduction. I was trying to find out what the price WAS but he didn't give me a chance to finish my sentence and told me to leave the premises! The large woman that works there is just as bad. Permanent sneer on her face, abrupt, sighs often and rolls her eyes. I used to go in there often because they are very reasonable on pricing and have a good selection but I am weary of how they treat me and others who have been in there either with me or during my visit and were treated the same way. Since they don't want my business, I will go elsewhere. read more
