We sent birthday flowers to our sweet Aunt for delivery on a Friday before the 3 day weekend and much to our surprise, she had headed out of town. The delivery person called me, but I was stuck in a work meeting and couldn't answer. No problem. They called back and informed me it was way too hot to leave her flowers at the door as I had originally suggested. I gave them my Aunt's number to coordinate the delivery and they were kind enough to arrange the delivery on Saturday when they are normally not doing deliveries. Well, my birthday girl was away today for the follow up delivery and again, I got another call. Luckily, Edwards had smaller plants in the color I wanted, and a kind staff member kindly offered to combine two of the small plants for repotting together in the size pot I wanted. The result was just right! I also learned that there was a crop failure of poinsettias in the color I wanted which is why so few were available this year.
