The best investment my husband and I made for our wedding. Referred by a friend who also worked with Angie to plan and execute her wedding from out-of-state, Angie exceeded all expectations. She is kind, understanding, quick to respond, and skilled at her job. Planning: Angie helped us save money and stick to our budget by helping us find high-quality vendors that fit the size and shape of our wedding. She is responsive and patient when handling the many logistics of hiring vendors- and so well-established that we were able to get discounts through her relationships with those vendors! Whenever we told other wedding workers that we were working with Angie, you could tell they were relieved, because they knew Angie would have it all taken care of! We got to focus on the fun stuff, because we knew Angie had our backs- this is exactly the planning experience we were looking for. Flexibility: We changed our mind on vendors, added on services for rehearsal dinner planning, and through it all Angie was so supportive in our decisions. She really listened and offered her expert opinion when she felt it was necessary. Rehearsal dinner: Especially for wrangling our families into doing the actual rehearsing, Angie did an amazing job! She thought of so many logistics for the ceremony that we didn't have to worry about because she was there. Day of Ceremony and Reception: Everything went so smoothly because of her work! She received all the deliveries (flowers, catering, cake, decorations, rentals, photobooth, DJ equipment) and helped problem solve any issues, while I relaxed in the bridal suite! Angie is the BEST! I would give her 500 stars if I could. Angie is extremely experienced - which really made the wedding planning process so simple and easy. She knows a lot of vendors in the area, and was able to get us deals that we could not get on our own. She did all of the research and presented us with 2-3 options for each vendor that fit both our preferences and budget, so all of the stress was taken out of wedding planning. She also helps create a budget at the very beginning and helps you stick to that budget. She also creates very detailed timelines and makes sure the day of goes very smoothly. My wedding day was very calm/ stress free which is all because of her. I was engaged for two years (during Covid) and she replanned the wedding once and completely downsized it another time. I can't imagine going through the wedding process without Angie. I'm a type A perfectionist, but unless you're an event planner, keeping track of all of the intricate details that go into a wedding, especially one as large as ours at over 200 guests, is daunting and overwhelming. From day 1 of hiring Angie, she was so on top of it- giving me a timeline of things to do/when to do them, making a wedding day timeline on a google doc that I could edit (over and over and over again and she never minded a bit and always updated the plan accordingly), keeping track of minute details that are so easy to overlook, always being prompt and responsive to my billions of questions, providing a calming voice of reason to a sometimes insane process, and most importantly coordinating with all of the other vendors to make sure everything came together perfectly. She is proactive throughout the planning process, which is something I loved- she wouldn't wait for me to think of something, she was always on top of it, suggesting layouts, order of events, contacting vendors, clarifying orders, etc. And come day of, everything was flawless, or if anything went awry she took care of it with such grace that I didn't have a clue. Being able to get ready with my closest friends all morning and then spend the reception dancing the night away with my new husband without a care in the world of stuff like decorations, timing, who still needed to be paid, or even getting my go-bag for the honeymoon, was such a huge weight off my shoulders, and really provided me the opportunity to let loose and to be fully present to enjoy our wedding day. I actually don't think there are enough good adjectives in the world to describe Angie, because she is so incredible; she's organized, proactive, a calming influence, efficient, responsive, up for anything, and not to mention one of the kindest people I've met who always has a smile on her face! If I had to describe Angie in one word, it would be "INCREDIBLE!" - caps lock intentional. Angie was, hands down, one of the best investments I've made in my happiness. Angie allowed me to enjoy not just the wedding day, but the entire wedding planning experience. As a big planner myself, I originally tried to tackle the entire wedding myself. After receiving quotes from several companies for 3-4 of the major expenditures for the wedding, I was taken aback by the amount of money I was going to be spending with no expertise in any of these areas. Was I getting a good deal, bad deal, forgetting something, over or under ordering, working with the right vendors? That's when I found Angie. I quoted out several planners, and Angie had a great price for the offering and we really clicked when I interviewed her. Angie made the wedding planning process a true breeze. She quoted out vendors, came with recommendations on vendors / choices / etc, kept me on budget and timeline, sent reminders when I should be doing other things and working with her was a dream. Not to mention, when I, in true bride style, decided 2 weeks before the wedding I wanted a videographer, Angie found me a wonderful vendor within days who was available and within budget. Angie was always available whenever I needed help (including several transcontinental emails, texts, phone calls). She did a spectacular job coordinating with my vendors - my florist, photographer (whom had never met Angie before), and caterer brought up to me how much they loved Angie's streamlined format and constant communication. They said it allowed them to completely leave me alone! Until that statement, I didn't realize Angie was even talking to them regularly. Point blank, Angie got things done I didn't even know needed to happen. I had a lot of friends get married and they complained non-stop about planning after a couple months. I had a blast wedding "planning," more like wedding decision making, due 100% to Angie's communication, organization, and industry competence. WOW! I cannot say enough fantastic things about Angie with Absolute Wedding Perfection. We hired her as a day of wedding coordinator, but I feel that she did SO much more than just help us on the day of the wedding. She was excellent about pointing us towards great vendors, keeping our timeline organized, and keeping my stress level low. The week and day of our wedding I knew we would be in good hands, (literally EVERY other vendor we hired had amazing things to say about her). Angie took care of all of the set up, flipping our ceremony area to our reception area, and clean up. What I loved most about working with Angie is that she took any stress that could've fallen on myself, my groom, my mom, bridesmaids, etc and took care of everything! Overall: Angie was a blessing and joy to work with throughout our planning process. I would recommend her to anyone that needs someone for day-of specialization and pre-wedding shenanigans. You have no idea what you're getting yourself into as a bride or mother of the bride, so let her guide you with her skilled expertise. She will make the impossible happen. Because I would have liked to a general idea of what to look for in a planner, here's what I would look for that Angie does: Someone that calls you first when a meeting is planned, someone that brings up things that you have forgotten, someone who can control six vendors while still making sure it is what the bride and family want, someone who is calm and collected- yet still aware of the process and able to get things accomplished, someone you can talk to and make faces at when you're stressed or happy and she understands.... There are many more, but this is what you will find! Here is a play-by-play: Pre-Wedding: My husband and I got married September 20th, but Angie has been helping us plan since we were first referred to her by both our florist (Melissa Timm Designs) and our caterer (Bradford Event Catering). She went above and beyond when coordinating the vendors and making sure the number matched up beforehand, and she was the first to volunteer to help make the day successful. She has this awesome timeline that we modified enough times to be perfect. That timeline is important! Rehearsal: When my wedding troupe arrived for the rehearsal we all just looked at her and she made our confusion a masterpiece. She wasn't forceful or rude, but she could get us moving in the right direction. Day Of: I didn't see Angie Saturday morning because she was basically a little blur of activity making sure everything was in the right place and everyone was being taken care of. She checked in with me as soon as I arrived though, and was calm and patient throughout the entire process of my dress wardrobe malfunction. While funny now, without her there to coach me, I feel like I would have been a wreck. When everything got sorted out with my dress, and after she ran up and down 600 flights of stairs, she was still ready to get everyone in line and ready for the actual ceremony. Reception: Angie crowd-arranged everyone for my group picture and then made sure both Dylan and I had food and an exit plate strategy for the end of the night. Finale: Angie was awesome. Although we only contracted with her for week off wedding planning, she was more than happy to meet us with early, send us an incredibly helpful list, and offer us tips throughout the planning process. Angie is the BEST - you guys, I can't say enough good things about her. We used her as our day-of coordinator, but she was so much more! I was planning a wedding from out of town, and she helped me choose vendors, gave advice, and helped calm me down when I was having bride moments.
