Nathen the tech appeared knowledgeable yesterday when sent to 'do a check up' of the garage door they installed in 2020 ( had a temporary opening issue that was gone before he arrived). my husband said to check both doors- but thought it was included in $149 price. should have check reviews first I guess. They did a good job in the new door install of 2020 and we've had no issues till now. 100% Crooked business!!!! I feel used and betrayed!!!! I was overcharged an insane amount of what this service should have cost!!!! I had two garage springs changed which the springs run about $60 each which totals $120 dollars. There were a few other parts two brackets, two ball bearing wheels and two cables. The additional parts couldn't have cost more than $150. Why was the bill over $1,200!!! They refused to provide an itemized bill showing what the charges were!!!! To add insult to injury they signed me up for a membership I didn't ask for!!! 100% total scam!!!!! read more

I was charged $559 for replacement of broken garage door springs, 2/each at $242 per spring, and a $75 service call. That's just too much! There are many garage door repair companies that charge $350 or thereabouts. read more

*** BUYER BEWARE. I chose Absolute HVAC to install a new mini split AC 3 days ago. At first, everyone is very friendly, respectful but I have not seen this level of poor communication between departments and customer service in a while! It's like they don't talk to each other there. The installers were very nice, polite, did a great job, but they weren't informed by Sales of the specifics on the job they were to do so they wasted like 2 hours mapping everything out. Also, I was given an invoice with a total price, I paid the requested deposit, was told ;in writing) of what my remaining balance would be, but when it was time to pay, was charged OVER $600 MORE!! I have been trying to resolve this for 3 day! Every time I talk to someone, they say they'll have a manager call me and today is the 2nd day in a row that no one has reached out to me!! I even had a lady HANG UP ON ME TODAY! Very frustrating! So far, I am very sorry I hired Absolute. Horrible communication and customer service. read more

Great service: however product and service was at least 50 percent higher than local competitor with 4 star rating who provided the same product and service (via coupon) . Was told that company price matches if brought to its attention at time of service. In short, company is substantially more expensive. Do your due diligence and comparison shop. A bit dismayed when I realized if I had, could have paid one third less. read more

Ultimately I got good service and a fair price on a new garage door from Absolute. There was a bit of a glitch in that they initially ordered the wrong size of door, so it took a few weeks to have the job completed, but they were very apologetic about the error and generally very courteous. read more

Don't get roped in to program with monthly fee. They have a program they try to push where supposedly when you call, you get put at the top of the wait list. We had a problem with our toilet. Someone did come right out, but only to analyze the problem. He recommended a tank rebuild of over $400.00 and it was going to be a wait before they could do it. I ended up fixing it with a $10.00 part. When I tried to cancel the service they said I had to keep it a year. Apparently, it is on the first invoice I signed but was never told. Yesterday at noon the automatic door of our detached garage got jammed in the up position and left the interior of the garage open to the street. I live in the Highlands, where petty theft is a continual annoyance, so my first concern was to get the door closed. I found Absolute on Yelp and was told that a technician would be out toward the end of the afternoon. Absolute's technician, George Byers, not only secured the door but spent at least three hours rebuilding it. Although the garage had just been built when we bought our house two-and-a-half years ago, the door had been shoddily installed and was tearing itself apart. George explained clearly why it had failed and how it needed to be rebuilt and offered what struck me as a reasonable price. I would recommend Absolute to anyone. read more

I have had 3 homes in Louisville and used other overhead door companies over the years. Never has any compared to the service I received today from Jeff at ABSOLUTE OVERHEAD. GREAT EXPERIENCE! Jacob Kenner was our installer today. Jacob had excellent communication skills. Well mannered. Very thorough. Did not have a problem answering any question. He had complete respect of me even thou I am a women and that I truly appreciated, especially now days. He helped me understand the aspect of his job today. Jacob's performance was every bit of impeccable and if I was his employer, I would value him as a role model. I would also consider Jacob as a useful resource in training new employees or contractors. No hum hauling around he stayed busy the whole time. Jacob had a clean cut business look. Think twice if you need your repair done accurately and quickly. I called Absolute Overhead Door to fix my overhead door that was not responding to it's external remotes or keypad. They arrived promptly to my home, but it went downhill from there. They stated I needed a new circuit board and that it would take 5-7 days to get one in for a total of $165.00. All I can say is thank goodness they cannot access parts quickly or I would have gone ahead and had them replace the circuit board. I decided since it was going to take so long to get the parts for the repair that I would get a second opinion. After about 3 minutes on the phone with them they walked me thru 2 steps that got everything up and running again.
