I had been using a service for my lawn' Natural Lawn Care' for years when I had an tree that needed specific attention. My current lawn company could not offer this service rather Natural 'choice' could. For 2 years they were servicing a tree- until one year I got a call for my lawn fertilizing. Like a normal human, I made the mistake of thinking this company was the company that I normally used. They came and I was getting double billed for my lawn care. It took 2 rounds for me to realize that this was happening again because the names, logo and invoices all look the same. As soon as I figured out the issue- I called to cancel. Unfortunately, this was my error however good business practice would not be to act rudely to the client or make them feel bad or to read through old notes of conversations to throw back in a customers face. I get it! I am a human! I made the mistake of thinking you were my lawn service when you called to ask if you can fertilize my lawn for the season. I mean you both have NATURAL and LAWN in the titles of your name!!! Seriously- why are we disputing that this could NOT be a common error When I called to cancel, you read old notes to tell me that you made clear to let me know you were NOT my other company. Rather than try to issue a partial credit, or provide empathy to a client for an error, even though I admit some fault, so did you, Right? Should your approach have been a little nicer to me as a client - you would have been paid but because of the attitude, rudeness and outright harassing phone behavior. I'm not paying you because you were partially wrong in this as well. Note: in order to have kind, loyal customers its important to treat them kind as well. I will NEVER use your service again because of how you chose to treat me over the phone- this is my 'CHOICE'. Maybe work on how to deal with clients who are unhappy or want to cancel because in the end - they will post reviews like this on yelp. Sorry NOT Sorry- Your unhappy client who made a human error of thinking the name of your company was the same as her current.
