The bedrooms are very comfortable and there is charging points every where. The lounge room has a massive TV with such a great selection of movies. There is internet access computers and a webchat room. The staff are super friendly and help you with any ANY requirement, booking or reservation you would like to make. I highly recomend this place if any ever visits Queenstown.

The rooms are easily the cleanest in comparison to any other hostel in the world. We always booked last minute. So unfortunately we only got to stay here for 4 nights. The last night they were fully booked, so we moved over to Base Hostel which isn't far. But you do not want to stay at Base. It's loud from the club they have right next door and it's not as clean as Bumbles. Bumbles also has a very nice lounge area along with a kitchen that has plenty of dishes that you can use. The rooms are very spacious (even the dorms). I had an opportunity to stay in both a dorm as well as a private. I honestly can't say a single negative thing about this place. I would recommend staying here, if you're looking for a budget accommodation that's private, safe, central and clean. It gets loud on the streets, even in low tourist season, because the bars go on all night, so bring a pair of ear plugs. The king bed is comfy, there's heat and everything is adequate for what I needed in town. Staff at the front desk is almost available, knowledgable, effective and friendly. I would stay here again. Note that this is by far not a luxury hotel (it's somehow categorized as a five star hotel on Expedia).

The food from the bar was pretty good - had a Pizza one night and a breakfast butty - coffee also good. There are blackout shades that work perfectly and a plug-in heater. The bed was nice a comfortable. The bathroom was perfect, came with towels and they even had soaps and a hair dryer! There is a linen closet for your luggage and storage underneath the bed. The shared kitchen worked well - everyone labeled and cleaned their stuff. The staff cleans daily and they will hold your luggage at the front desk if you need them to for a few hours. Everything in Queenstown is a 1 block walk from this place and the Red Rock is right across the street which is a great bar and place to get a good breakfast. All the tour companies are also close - the shuttle to the ski resorts literally around the corner. I highly recommend! **Don't forget to stop and get your Fergburger!

The room is clean and tidy. It has all the basic amenities and offers plenty of privacy. The staff are super friendly and knowledgable so any questions you have, they can help answer. The building looks very aged and has a "work-in-progress" feel, but is under new management and is actively being improved every day. For 30/night, it's the best you can do.

This really is the place to go if you want to get away from it all for a while. Placed between the mountains of the Alps and offering a great lake view (especially from the free(!) hot tub on the roof of the main building) it is hard to find a more scenic spot to sleep in NZ (most rooms have lake view). Though quite remote it still offers numerous activities: Cayaking, Biking, Horse riding, to name only a few. A stop over can be easily combined with the greenstone, caples or routeburn track. If you go there, you should definitely enjoy the luxury of heaving an excellent english breakfast in the small restaurant.
