You must return your previous drink in order to use the tokens they give you for your free drink, however, which can be confusing, especially if you happen to put your drink down for a moment and find it no longer there. The crowd is all very young - between 18 and maybe 22. Most are nice, but the guys can be overly aggressive and one actually pinched me (twice), which I hated. The outside patio is pretty nice. The downstairs part of the club is generally pretty good although the floor is disastrously sticky. The upstairs part of the club is a hole where you cannot move. The music is pretty good. In general, I would be happy to never visit this place again but it isn't all bad.

Labels such as katermukke, ostgut and drumcode were the headliners while local djs also found their spot on the timetable. The audience is rather young (18 - mid 20s) but old school ravers are equally welcome. I like the the fact that most people come here for the music and don't waste time for the ususal mating rituals. People who think it's ok to cross the personal space of others usually get removed.

Adding to the lively and colourful club culture of Hannover, the Weidendamm Club, has to be seen as second to none when it comes to quality house music. The sound, bookings and vibes can easily compete with the famous clubs in Berlin, London or New York. Three dance floors and a big outdoor area make it a nice place to stay till the early morning hours. It's open every Friday and Saturday and normally costs about 7-10 € entry.
