Bed and his company did a wonderful job, and after getting three estimates and meeting up with…read morethree painting companies, I picked Ben. Great choice! He was wonderful, communicated very well (text, cell phone and email, fast to respond, obviously also met in person), worked independently, did an excellent job, stayed exactly within a tight time frame (because I had to replace carpets and move in) and was very well priced. I think he should be one of the first people you contact, and the only thing I regret is that I did not have him also paint my basement (which I painted myself), because I know he would have done a better job at a very reasonable price - and I say this, being very handy myself! He is excellent and I wish I had another project for him to do! On a more technical note, the paint job was done early November of 2018 and included both floors of my two-storey house: Two bedrooms, three closets,1.5 bathrooms, two hallways, stairs, a living-room and dining area, walls and ceiling.

Jamie Dorsey is one of the best home contractors we've ever had during the 30+ years we've lived in…read moreInterlachen Park. He just finished painting the exterior of our home this summer, 2026. He's an excellent painter -- very thorough in preparation (scraping, priming etc), careful in his painting, excellent daily attention to detail, clean worksite, careful of plants, etc. He's a great communicator, before and during the job, via text and pictures, so you always know what's going on and what you need to do. He does everything on time and he's super honest and nice. He's so good we've already hired him to do indoor painting on our home this winter. Simply put, of you need an excellent painter, it's a no brainer .... Jamie should be at the top of your list. Mike & Diane McDonnell

Do yourself a favor and hire Levi at Lee's Painting. My wife was swamped and stressed wrapping up…read moreher mother's estate after her death. Levi was not only the lowest bid but went over and above helping with furniture moving and so many other non-painting related tasks. Initially we only required the main floor to be painted to ready the house for sale. Once my wife saw the outstanding work she commissioned the second floor and basement as well. It is no easy task impressing my wife. The lines have to be absolutely perfect. No bleed over or spotting. Can I give 6 stars? Thank you Levi for your kindness to my wife and father-in-law.

I hate to write this review because Jerry seemed like such a nice guy, but I feel compelled to…read moreshare my experience on a quote that I received for exterior painting on newly installed primed siding. His quote was 4x-6x what I received from other reputable painting companies with a lot of great reviews on Angie's list for the same process, using the same exact paint. Please make sure you get multiple bids before making a decision. I hope my experience was just a one-off and isn't typical for all of his bids. I was so shocked by how outrageous the bid I received was that I couldn't help but share. Again, I really feel bad that I had to write this review, but I hope it helps other people from possibly getting ripped off.

5/3/2022 Rafael Maya, RNM Flooring & Remodels LLC, remodeled…read moremy basement and did an extraordinary job! He did frame and sheet rock work as well as painting and some other carpentry. There were some areas which required innovative ideas to resolve and he offered several creative solutions which worked out very well. I asked him to do some additional work such as hanging a curtain and suspending a picture from the ceiling and painting several additional rooms and he, without any hesitation, agreed to do the work. He is very careful and a perfectionist in his work and at the same time worked very fast. He always cleaned up any mess after a day's work so that the area was very clean. His cost for the work done was very reasonable. I love my new basement; it is absolutely transformed due to his work. I highly recommend his work for any renovation. Sincerely, Meghabhuti Roth, M.D.

Hired Four Seasons Handymen to do a tile job around the shower windows in my duplex. Jamie was…read moretransparent that the tile work would need to have a some framing done which I was okay with considering the condition with the current framing. It was my understanding that the framing for both units was included in the original quote, but I was charged another $300 for the downstairs frame repair. I understand tile work tends to be a bit messy but due to the cold weather they decided to use their tile saw inside the home which created a ginormous mess in both apartments. We had to spend about 2 hours per apartment cleaning silica dust off of everything within a 10 foot radius of the bathrooms. They also left a giant mess in the bathrooms themselves. Besides the mess they made and the extra payment I was charged. I have to give Four Seasons handymen a 3-star review for timeliness. I know the weather doesn't always permit in Minnesota but they were 1-3 hours late every single day they were supposed to come out.
