In fact no one had anything bad to say. We are about halfway through the build and Corey and Desiree have been great. I will update this review after completion, but at this point we are pleased.

What I received in return was chaos, poor communication, and little meaningful progress. Communication was terrible. Nearly every conversation resulted in changed statements or denial of prior commitments. I repeatedly asked for clarity on where my money was going and never received a clear accounting. I was told doors and windows had been ordered -- they were not. Subcontractors showed up at my home expecting payment and later stopped coming because they were not paid. There was no consistent supervision, no reliable schedule, and no transparency. The experience felt like constant overpromising followed by underdelivering. If you are considering this company, DON'T DO IT. Based on my experience, I STRONGLY regret hiring them.

They started the job on October 17, 2022, and I finally made my final payment on May 17, 2023 after everything had been corrected and completed. Jeanette and company were horrible! Jeanette miss measured cabinets which caused having to reorder cabinets and removing a half wall, replacing sheet rock, and replacing flooring. The first guy she had there was working solo. He quit after I left a polite note not to use my glass stove top as a work bench for his tools after damaging the instrument panel. The next group of guys were very interesting to say the least. Every day when I got home, I would have to clean up after them literally. Definitely, no consideration for other people's house and how they treated it. For every issue that I confronted Jeanette on she had an excuse and a story. No one took any pride in the work they did. They expected you to just accept it for the way it was finished. When orders were placed NO ONE verified that it was ordered correctly or checked for accuracy when it came in. Again, this was the worst experience ever! I do not recommend PERIOD!

Like most people I had No clue about roofs other then it keeps the inside of my house dry. Mike explained he wanted me to make an educated decision about what I was buying. He had samples and literature that he left for me to read over. He called the next morning to follow up in case I had any questions. To this day I haven't heard back from anyone else that gave me a quote. Needless to say I signed my contract with confidence of what I was Buying. During the process of doing my roof ( it took them 3 days ) Mike stopped by twice just to make sure I didn't have any questions about how the roof was being done. On one of his stops I ask him if he knew someone that could build an addition on my house for a new bedroom. That's when he informed me that they also were BTC Builders and he could help me with my new addition, but would like to wait till they were completely done with the roof , He wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied before I considered using them for a large addition and such a big investment. My new roof was finaled through the county building dept and is absolutely Beautiful. (i may be a little bias ). While in their office paying my bill Mike heard my voice and came out of his office to speak with me about my ideas and budget for my new addition. After speaking with him and giving him my ideas about what I wanted to do I got a phone call 2 days later from him explaining he put some of my ideas on paper and would like to see what i thought. After a couple more meetings he had plans and cost that was actually lower then we had budgeted . I went to his office on several occasions for various reason, the girls in his office, Amber and Angle, were both very friendly and personable with us.If Mike wasn't in they would help with any questions I had and were very knowledgeable about what their company did. We signed our contract with them with No hesitation. They were very prompt in starting my job, every subcontractor they sent out was very professional. They always informed me when the subs would be here and they were here when they said they would be. Any time I called they were very friendly with me and never made me feel like i was being a bother ( and I called a lot with questions ), if they couldn't answer my questions I always got a call later from Mike with answers. I have recommended them to everyone I know looking to have work done. We've been going to Okeechobee for many years and have had things done from time to time but Never dealt with any company there that treated us like they did. I have to commend the owner for having a business like his with the people he employs. A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER Mick B
