Very low quality and didn't make my order correct and when I called them they did care .said I should go to another place !

I hired Able to paint the exterior of my house in 2016. They were very reasonably priced and did a good job. I even recommended them to people early on. However, the paint started chipping on my house within 2 years. This is way too soon for paint to start chipping. I contacted the owner and he said he would come out that weekend to check on it. He never showed nor contacted me. I called him again 2 months later, he said he would come out that weekend to check on it. Again, never showed nor contacted me. I contacted the owner a month later...same story. He still has not shown up nor contacted me. Now in 2016, upon completion of his job on my house, he contacted me pretty much on a weekly basis to get me to post a positive review online about his work. It took me awhile to do it, but he was persistent in calling me then. Now that I need follow up work done though, he cant make a call. An initial job is good, but what gets repeat/referral business is how you follow up with your customers and this company does not know how to do that Very disappointed and frustrated. I would not recommend doing business with them even with their low prices. read more

I have used Able Custom Painting many times and have always had a great experience. Their prices are more than reasonable, they always finish quickly and are extremely professional. I just had them paint the condo I just moved into and was pleasantly surprised that they were also able to replace door handles, fix my closet sliding doors, and do several other upgrades for me. I was so excited to find out they do all these additional remodeling services! Next we're going to re-do the bathroom and put in a new kitchen counter, sink and dishwasher. I thought I would have to wait on these project, but with Able's prices I don't have to wait now... I decided to try Able Custom Painting based on the reviews. Able failed to deliver in the customer service area. As a result, I refused to hire Able. Able held an initial consultation with me to estimate costs for planned work. The estimate was professional but not detailed enough to accurately project the required work. Able then asked for an immediate deposit but would not guarantee a start date for the work. This is it a good business practice to ask for a deposit but refuse to give a start date. I called the owner multiple times to inquire about the work start date. The owner told me on three occasions he would respond to me within 24-48 hours and failed to respond each time. After the last failed promise, another company representative called me a week later promising to put me on the schedule. His tone as well as the owner was a tone of the company doing me a favor. As a customer I won't chase a company to give them my money. I explained this to the employee and he didn't seem to care. This was my personal experience with Able. Your experience may be different but use extreme caution if considering using Able Custom Painting. read more

Stay far away! This company is not professional! When we interviewed the owner we were promised that he would be here, at my house, not just drop off a crew and only be seen to collect your paycheck, which happened. In good faith, we paid you the balance even though the job is still not completed. The job was started on a Thursday and 3 weeks later, it was still not completed. Also, in the interview, the owner told us the job would only take 3-4 days. It's now been over 3 weeks... I personally was not prepared for this and had to take off unscheduled time to work to "wait" for your crew to show up. I'm losing money waiting for your crew to figure out their timetable. As of Friday July 12th, contracted jobs that were promised are still not completed or fixed to my satisfaction. i.e. wallpaper removal repairs, kitchen caulking and master bedroom "fuzzy" wall behind triple dresser. Also, your crew tried to charge me for jobs that were already written into the contract. Then they tried to sell themselves as a private contractor including giving me a "flyer" as to what they can do cheaper for me then your company. Their website states that they "pride yourselves on being prompt". So far this has not happened. Your crew would call and schedule a time to show up, and when they did, it was HOURS later. Your crew offered to stay late, and then I'm told they need to go to another job. Your crew does not come prepared. They run out of paint, tape and paint brushes (the later which I provided). Crew told me that lack of materials was management's fault and were waiting on you to furnish needed supplies. They were extremely unprofessional. Your crew had an underage child here painting my home. Also, after I finally gave up on your company, I'm finding areas that were still NOT painted or did not have 2 coats plus paint on linens and furniture. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!!! read more
