I had a very disappointing experience working with Focus Interpreting During the Promotion Process…read morefrom Simultaneous Interpreter to Business Development I was promised a contract after 3 months training and Incentives for awarded bids. However, in the first month I got the company a master agreement, In the second month the contract manager and I working together on proposals WON 4 translation bids. On the 3rd month She gave me the opportunity to work on a bid by my self and I was awarded a 498,252.96 thousand dollar contract for the Department of motor vehicles Agreement Number 24-347 I worked with the company as a Spanish to English interpreter for approximately 12 months Prior. During that time, I performed my duties professionally and consistently. When I asked Selin C. for the contract and incentive he said "I dont ever remember telling you about an extra 800 dollars for awarded bids". I decided to step down from business development on 4.30.2025 and sent an apology letter to continue providing Interpretation services thanking them for the opportunity. I worked on May 1st , May 15th and May 22nd for the City of Fresno Council meeting . I didnt get a payment on the date expected and sent many emails requesting my payment since everyone else had already been payed, The coordinator finally told me I would receive payment at the end of the week. but I never received any update. Today is 5/15/2026 almost a year waiting for my payment. I didnt have money to pay my due rent, or buy food and I couldnt make my mortgage payment. Currently, I have been trying to contact the company through email, Phone calls, because I was a top performer and need for my work to be recognized and I deserve to receive payment for it. Since the CEO responded to emails saying all money owed has been payed in full. and Posted my apology letter on linkedin and told others on linkedin I was untrustworthy.

Tabitha White- Affordable Paralegal Service, this lady knows her stuff!!!…read more After finding myself in a position to need legal help, but not being able to afford a lawyer - because I had already been taken to the cleaners financially with my last lawyer - I knew that I had to handle this upcoming legal matter on my own. I signed up for a prepaid legal service. I was told that the matter, being of a real estate nature, was too complicated and I had to hire a lawyer. Since that was not an option for me, I began doing my due diligence to find a paralegal to help me prepare the paperwork to take this on myself. After contacting 5 paralegals, none of them would take the case, agreeing with the prepaid legal service's opinion. Then, I found Tabitha. She said she could take the case, and she had a completely different approach to handling the matter that none of the others did. Of course I checked out what she said to make sure she was providing me with accurate information and found that she was correct. So I hired her immediately. Best decision I've made regarding handling this matter! Tabitha's level of expertise and experience is top notch, having years of experience working with lawyers; this gives her a cutting edge advantage! I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
