What a wonderful company. My daughter and I are extremely allergic to bedbug bites so we know immediately if we are exposed to them. I picked up a bug in Chicago at an Airbnb and of course immediately had a bite so I called Orkin. They came and couldn't see any bugs and refused to come to do the treatment despite the fact that my daughter had been hospitalized with her bite. Her entire leg swelled up and was bruised from the reaction. I called them for five day &, even though they promised me they would come the next day to fumigate they didn't even return my calls. I called Abell. They came the next day & fumigated, got rid of the one bug we had picked up and they were just amazing. I had your company treat my 1 bedroom apt for bed bugs and it's going on 2 weeks later and I still have bed bugs.

Usless scam company. I paid them $1,000 total, but my mouse problem wasn't fixed, even after a year with them. First, they charged me $500 to set up traps. The mice would go in, eat the poison bait, and leave the trap without being caught. They go back in it each day and make noises. The trap and poison did not work at all. Then, they charged another $500 to seal holes outside my house. Later when they came to check, they found more holes which the guy missed to cover, then they wanted more money to fix them, even though I had already paid for that service before. They claimed it was "new" holes and refused to fix them without charging. I bought my own traps for $30 which worked right away and a lot better since they can't leave the trap. When I called the company about all these problems, the person on the call laughed at me and said it's not their problem. Extremly rude and disrespectful. Absolutely useless scam company. I'm convinced they don't fix your problem on purpose so you can continue paying for them. Just buy your own $30 traps, that worked for me better than paying 1000 from this company. read more

My apartment was suppose to be fumigated today but when I arrived home, it was not treated. I spoke to the employee before leaving and he said that he hates his job. This comment leads me to believe he avoids doing the work at all cost: proof is that my apartment was not fumigated! What a nightmare. read more

We had a raccoon make it's way into our roof and had to call several times in order to actually get a technician to come for an inspection. They charged us $140 for the man to tell us it was of course a racoon (which we already knew as we verbalized that we had seen it coming in and out) even though you advertise FREE Inspections. The technician came back to install a trap door and some wire cages to keep the racoon out and said he would be back in a week to take off the trap door. Charged us $423. It's now been well over a month and no one has come, we have called several times and every time the receptionist is clueless and zero help. The raccoon has since come back and destroyed a different section of our roof even though we were told by the technician he has sealed off all possible ways in. We have no called 3 times to try and get a technician back out to address the problem and still have yet to be contacted. read more

I decided to try out Abell's services as I was talking to a friendly service man on the phone when I was deciding while I was at work. He knew what he was talking about so I ended up book a one pest service with Melissa in the Mississauga office. My house has a centipede problem that it's not normal. My sister and I are extremely frightened by them so enough is enough. Melissa was very friendly each time we spoke on the phone. She returned my phone calls within 24 hours when I left her a message. Our service occurred last Friday with one of the service man. I was at work during the time but my sister and dad were there to supervise. The man arrived on time for our 2 pm appointment. The service was quite fast as it was only 20 minutes. We thought that it would be longer because initially we were told the appointment was for an hour. The man sprayed along the base for the exterior and interior of our home. What we didn't like was that he wore his dirty shoes in our entire home. I mentioned this to Melissa and she stated that they are required to wear booties. She did apologize and stated she would let the service man know. The one pest service has a 100 day guarantee and was about $207 including tax. I do find it expensive for a 20 minute service. However, if I don't see anymore of those scary things I will be satisfied. PS: We had to leave our home for 4 hours after the service was completed. When we got back home we had to open our windows for about 20 minutes. read more

YASS of ABELL PEST CONTROL did a HORRIBLE JOB. He had put out poison bait stations to kill the mice. and at the end he actually removed the poison from the bait stations. He also left out wooden spring traps with no cheese or peanut butter on them. He was referred to me, so I lent him a copy of my mother's house key. The house is vacant. After I fired him March 30, 2023 I got the key back. In April, I discovered 7 to 12 paintings that my mother did were MISSING from her den. I don't know if anything else is missing. His boss, Alex, reimbursed me the entire $1,200 plus tax. Re the missing items, he told me to call the authorities. Police officer Patel told me that, unless I had a video of him removing the items, or unless someone witnessed him removing the items, no judge would issue a warrant to search his home. I used Abell for their pest services, and not only did they not rid us of the problem after 3 treatments (They said it would only take 2..), their customer service was very poor. After the first treatment I was shocked to return to my apartment in a state of chaos, everything was upturned and because it was done aggressively, there were scratches on the wall and drywall came off. When I contacted them about this they responded by saying that is normal service but they would provide me with mattress covers (which I had already paid for and they did not refund me). Secondly, after receiving the third treatment I still had bugs and I had followed all of their precautions, keeping everything in garbage bags for 8 weeks by the end of it etc. Still had bugs! I then tried to contact them to remedy this, and I called 4 times until they finally called back with no solution. Really poor service, I would not recommend them at all. I normally wouldn't post such a harsh review, especially considering the circumstances but I received service from Addison Pest Control and it was way better than how Abell treated myself and my property. read more
