So, when I was referred to Kwik Stop from another auto shop for a repair they could not complete, I felt a little better than going in blind. When I spoke with Hiram, he was professional and respectful, but what I really appreciated was him telling me of what the issue was, showing me a video of the actual problem, and then telling me what was absolutely necessary versus what was recommended. The work was extensive and was going to take at least a full day, but Hiram knowing that I needed my car sooner than later, he made great efforts to get me my car as soon as possible. Their work is guaranteed for 1 year or 12,000 miles so there is some reassurance in that. The business is located in a small strip-mall like place where there are several automotive business lined up. It is a not a stand alone building and does not have a waiting area, but there are local businesses and fast food eateries just down the street where you can wait. Kwik Stop is definitely a place to consider should you need automotive work.

They tried to charge my daughter $1500 for a repair that her car did not even need. Let that sink in. $1500 for something that was completely unnecessary. We took the car to another shop and were told there was nothing wrong with what they claimed. That is not a mistake, that is unacceptable. The lack of honesty and transparency here is alarming. There was no real explanation, no proof, just pressure to approve expensive work that made no sense. This is exactly how people get taken advantage of. On top of that, the behavior and attitude we experienced were completely unprofessional. It did not feel like they had the customer's best interest in mind at all. I have reported this business to the automotive bureau and I strongly encourage anyone reading this to think twice before coming here. Always get a second opinion. There are honest mechanics out there. This is not one of them. Save yourself the stress, the money, and the frustration and go somewhere else.

The shop is also very clean and organized, and I really appreciate that they have chairs available for customers to sit and wait. A lot of other shops have you standing outside in the heat or cold, so that small detail really makes a difference. Everyone is always professional, friendly, and respectful. The owner Mike is especially humble and always treats me with kindness every time I come in. DONT BRING UR CAR HERE We brought our car in on August 7 …read more When we first called the shop, we explained that our car was shaking and struggling to take off, but we weren't sure what was causing the problem. The shop told us they could scan the car and diagnose what was wrong. We dropped the car off, and the mechanic later called us and recommended doing the spark plugs and a tune-up. He also told us that the valve cover was leaking and that oil was getting down into the area where the spark plugs were, causing them to get dirty. He explained that if we didn't replace the valve cover, we could continue having problems. Based on what he told us, we agreed to have the valve cover replaced along with the spark plugs/tune-up. We were charged approximately $530 for the work. The mechanic also told us that if we had any issues, we could bring the car back. The problem is that we're still experiencing the exact same issue we originally brought the car in for -- the car is shaking and struggling to take off. We called the shop today and explained that the problem is still happening. We were then told that it could possibly be the transmission. However, our transmission was already replaced about a year ago, which makes us question that diagnosis. We're now out $530, and the original problem hasn't been fixed. We're trying to figure out what our options are. especially since we were told to bring the car back if we had any issues. We attempted to reach out and they avoided giving us any names & avoided helping us .. they are actively avoiding our messages via IG ****To the response WHO WOULD WANNA TAKE THEIR CAR BACK TO A SHOP THAT REFUSES TO GIVE A NAME TO US ????? , that is unprofessional! When we took the car back they tried telling us it was a ELECTRIC ISSUE! And it WASN'T at all ! You guys didn't help, We took it to another mechanic and turns out you guys failed to change all the spark plugs that needed to be changed! AGAIN WE PAID U 530$! & you guys half assed the job ****
