Walking through Cookeville we found the cutest little bookstore just begging us to come inside. A chessboard near the entrance almost got our attention but the books won. This place is warm and inviting, colorful, with a great selection for a small town and tons of little signs talking about books, series, authors, and yes... dragons. Total scam! They butchered the installation, spitting on every promise they made and leaving us stranded. They shoved damaged appliances full of dents and scratches down our throats, banking on us being too stupid to notice their junk. An assistant manager spewed lies about fixing it, only for them to call the next day and demand more money for installation we already paid for upfront. To top it off, we spoke to a manager at the Nashville location who was outright rude, treating us like garbage for daring to complain. Their customer service is a disgusting sham--dishonest, useless, and infuriatingly arrogant. Avoid this pitiful excuse for a store unless you love being scammed and disrespected. By the way, Ethan was a pleasure to work with and tried to help - but the others in the store was a waste of time and effort. I noticed that the owner responds to these reviews but offers nothing to address issues in his response. Only saying things like "it's unfortunate" or "we hope to do better to regain your trust". My plan is if we don't resolve this issue in the next few days, I'm going to load $12k worth of high end appliance on my trailer, haul them to the Cookeville store and camp out in their parking lot with a huge banner saying how I was scammed and sell my appliance in the parking lot for penny's on the dollar. It has absolutely nothing to do with the cost it's all about principal.

That sweet couple saw an abandoned place (a land mark community hone) and knew they could fix it to nearly the original splendor. It is soooo worth spending the day there, and take advantage of the sweet little cafe. We just loved our lunch. The home was built with all the modern conveniences when indoor plumbing or electric were unheard of! It saw many different owners, including a doctor who turned the home into a hospital! It was even where the first hip surgery was ever done in the county. A must see!!!
