My kiddo is a wallflower and every teacher that he's had has been quintessential in his social development and getting him to open up. The teachers truly care about him. All of them. It was such a super heart-warming experience when I went to pick him up the other day. On my way in, I was able to catch up with Ms. Jada, who was the first teacher he had. She has the patience of an angel and really helped guide us into appropriate behaviors for little ones of his age at the time in these social settings. Just helping us get back into "normal" post-covid children group interactions. We talked about how much he's grown and how he's talking so much now. She also came in to his new class to say hi and he stopped getting ready to leave to go give her a hug. In the hallway, we also ran into Ms. Sonia and Ms. Candace both of whom were also so important in coaxing him out of his shell and always making him feel safe enough to do so. They also were impressed by how big he's gotten and his personality has blossomed further as he's become more comfortable in who he is. These small interactions just solidified how much trust I have in them. They truly don't HAVE to stop to talk to us. It was the end of the day, they were certainly tired. But each one of them have taken the time to notice my son, even when he's not in their class anymore, and to say hi just to say hi. Of course, Mr. Jose and Ms. Juliette certainly have a way with him and the rest of the kids too. He always comes home and teaches us the new sign language he's learned. Mr. Jose has such an awesome, chill big brother vibe. On the administrative side, Ms. Mona is always a ray of sunshine. Ms. Emily and Ms. Jillian are always extremely helpful and responsive with emails.

He even asks for them when we're at home and I ask about school. He is always excited to go to school to spend time with them and his classmates. I'm grateful for the school and its close proximity as we live in stuytown. I hope the school will offer 3K next year as the tuition is high and any savings will help.

Jeannine is incredibly involved! Whenever there's an event, she is always there and fully engaged. That means so much to us as parents. Now my younger daughter is attending WOW, and she is also having an amazing time. She is learning so much from her teachers and is always happy to be there. Everyone is kind, caring, and supportive. We have been SO happy with everything about our experience at TLE. As a family we have experienced 4 different age level classrooms and therefore had a number of different teachers and have loved each one. We have honestly loved every one. The teachers are all so engaged and loving and I really trust my kids are happy and in good hands each day. My oldest talks constantly about her teachers and my youngest will jump out of our arms each morning to see her teacher. They offer so many activities to keep the kids engaged, learning and having fun -- lots of reading and singing, pretend play, arts and crafts, science activities as they get older. Even my little one does multiple art projects a week in the infant room. The classrooms are big, bright, and clean. Plus there are a few additional spaces in the school (indoor playground) and another big play room that the kids all visit weekly. The kids also go outside daily if weather allows. Pre-covid they all went to the playground but now they go for neighborhood walks. I also really appreciate the communication from the teachers and the school administrators. The teachers post photos and notes all day long and are always open to questions and communication from parents. Reena (Owner) and Danyele (Educational Director) communicate often via email and also frequently set up zoom calls to be able to answer parents questions or allow the space for teachers and parents to connect. They have been so transparent and communicative all year as we navigate Covid together. Health and Safety is also a top priority at the school. Teachers are all in masks, there is no cross over between classrooms so kids interact with the same small group of kids and teachers everyday, and there are a number of other practices in place (indoor only shoes, drop off and pick up at the door, temp checks, lots of cleaning and hand washing, rotation of shared spaces like the indoor playground to allow time to clean and sanitize, etc. Overall we have been so happy with our experience at the school and are grateful for the community its connected us to.

Assuming that they are still in business, it seems they have -zero- accountability. Do you really want to entrust you child with or through an organization that never calls you back?
