And while the facility itself isn't huge, it's incredibly clean with new, clean toys, and the overall feeling of the place is very comfortable and homey. The price for childcare is also very reasonable in comparison to other daycares in the area, and they also give options for limited days- unlike some other daycares in the area we discovered that only have options for full, 5-day care. The teachers are wonderful and very involved with the kids and their activities. They also have an app called Brightwheel that they upload info throughout the day on i.e. wet/dirty diapers, start and end of naps, how much food eaten from their lunch, etc. It's really great.... And it's also such a great feeling getting a surprise picture of my son playing or even just enjoying himself that one of the teachers took and uploaded for our family to see. Great place. Great teachers. Great atmosphere. Would recommend a hundred times over!!!!

She is organized and wonderful to work with in all areas, but especially in regard to payment and scheduling. The facility is perfect for younger children (those under eleven or so) and is very clean and the pricing is quite reasonable. During the summer, Sara works hard to plan field trip and awesome activities for the kids, keeping them entertained throughout. The staff is great, well trained, and most have been there for quite some time. They are also big on communication, using an app and in person, and I value that very much. I cannot recommend Kid's Connection enough!!

My kids started in the infant room and moved up through the preschool room and every teacher/helper was so kind and gave such great attention to each child. In addition, Amy was always so flexible with scheduling. It made life much easier because I could always depend on Duck Pond to help me with arrangements.

From early in my pregnancy, we did a lot of reading about day cares, visited several, but we knew when we visited Duck Pond that was where our Jack would end up. We clicked instantly with Amy, the director, who strikes the perfect balance between down-to-earth and professional. She is caring, trustworthy, and always reasonable. So we chose Duck Pond for Jack when he was a mere 2 months old, and he just had his last day there (due to moving) 2 years later. Duck Pond's atmosphere feels like family, and we loved that if we wanted to talk to someone about Jack's needs (he had an anaphylactic egg allergy for a while) or if we had scheduling or billing questions, there was no corporate infrastructure to navigate. We loved that it was a family run center, that every staff member knew Jack by name and was excited to see him in the morning. It's important to note that teacher turnover is low, which was fabulous because Jack became very attached to them. All along, I have genuinely felt that Jack was loved and cared for. But this became even more apparent as he learned to walk, and would run excitedly in in the morning, and then when he learned to talk and was able to tell us how much he loves his Duck Pond friends and teachers. We'll miss Duck Pond but remain extremely grateful for the wonderful early care they gave our son and the peace of mind they gave his parents.

They are not cleaned regularly and there's black mold around the drain and on the shower curtains. The bathrooms are not maintained at all filthy filthy filthy. I wouldn't recommend my dog to come here. It's a nice sale for other things like swimming and stuff, but I don't think they maintain their bathrooms and showers and have enough exercise equipment for busy times get to wait for the machines you want. I will not be back to ever shower the toilets are safe to use much more kept up. I will be back to use the pools and things but never the shower, it's a mold experiment waiting to make someone sick.

The hours are great on weekdays - 530am - 9p but Sundays only 8a-4p - an extra hour on a sunday would be nice. The pools are bright and airy and the competition pool seems really clean. Lifeguards are friendly and seem to be paying attention to safety! CONS - For much of the year, there is a swim team that practices in the competition pool at prime after-work hours (often 4p-7p) and in the fall, there is the GUILFORD girls HS team, so it can be hard to swim after work. (But it is open at 530a for those early birds who want to swim before work!)
